Who is Credible?

Credible is a leading U.S. consumer finance marketplace, transforming the way consumers access and compare financial products. We operate at a consumer and enterprise level. On the consumer side, we help millions of people make smarter financial decisions by comparing personalized, pre-qualified offers across student loans, personal loans, mortgages, credit cards, and insurance — all without impacting their credit score. On the enterprise side, we power financial product comparison and distribution through deep integrations and partnerships with lenders, insurance carriers, and financial institutions, as well as providing marketplace technology and capabilities to third-party partners and distribution channels.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the CRO (conversion rate optimization) of Credible's performance marketing landing pages and on-site funnel. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, product, and data - responsible for the experiments roadmap, landing page creation and optimization, and the testing infrastructure that helps Credible convert more of its paid traffic into qualified leads.

You will work directly with the Head of Performance Marketing and partner closely with Engineering, Design, and BI to run a continuous stream of CRO experiments. The ideal candidate combines strong product instincts with a quantitative mindset and a bias for shipping tests quickly over building perfect solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the experiments roadmap: maintain and prioritize a rolling backlog of CRO and landing page experiments across all verticals (Personal Loans, Student Loan Refi, Private Student Loans, Insurance, etc.); sequence tests by impact and dependency
  • Landing page creation & optimization using Credible’s CMS: collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Marketing to build and refine landing pages that boost Quality Score, load speed, conversion rates, and overall CMS capabilities
  • A/B test design and analysis: define hypotheses, success metrics, and minimum detectable effects for each experiment; own statistical analysis and present clear readouts with recommended next steps
  • Funnel performance ownership: track and own KPIs across the paid funnel — click-to-prequal rate, prequal-to-submit rate, submit-to-approval rate — and identify the highest-leverage drop-off points
  • Cross-functional execution: coordinate with Engineering on implementation timelines, with BI on instrumentation and event tracking, and with the SEM team on campaign alignment and Quality Score requirements
  • Performance reporting: build and maintain dashboards that give the marketing team real-time visibility into experiment status, landing page performance, and conversion trends
  • Conversion signal infrastructure: partner with the BI Engineer to improve offline conversion data quality and ensure experiment results feed back accurately into Google Ads bidding signals
  • User insight synthesis: use session recordings, heatmaps, funnel analytics, and qualitative feedback to generate testable hypotheses and maintain a prioritized insight backlog

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience: 5+ years in a Product Management role with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization, growth, or performance marketing products
  • CRO depth: hands-on experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests on landing pages or on-site funnels; familiarity with statistical significance, sample sizing, and experiment pitfalls
  • Marketing fluency: strong understanding of paid acquisition mechanics - Quality Score, landing page relevance, campaign-to-page alignment, and how conversion rate impacts paid channel economics
  • Technical collaboration: able to write clear specs, work closely with engineers on implementation, and understand front-end constraints without needing to code
  • Data skills: experienced with Google Analytics, Looker, or similar analytics tools
  • Speed and pragmatism: bias for launching imperfect tests quickly over waiting for perfect conditions; comfortable operating in a high-iteration environment
  • Communication: strong written English; able to present experiment results and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; quantitative, engineering, or business background preferred

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience at a FinTech, financial marketplace, or lead-generation company
  • Familiarity with Google Ads Quality Score and how landing page experience affects paid channel performance
  • Experience with Strapi
  • Experience with tools like Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, or similar experimentation platforms
  • Background working with session replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory) and funnel analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude)
  • Prior experience in a performance marketing or growth role before moving into PM
  • Experience managing experiments across mobile and desktop simultaneously
