Job Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Sr. Product Manager for Anywhere will serve as the central orchestrator and driver for Direct Travel's innovative Anywhere technology platform. This role synthesizes input from cross-functional stakeholders, translates strategic direction into executable plans, and serves as the connective tissue that keeps all parties aligned and moving forward. You will work closely with the EVP, Leisure Travel and key stakeholders to ensure the platform evolves in line with business objectives, advisor needs, and market opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Coordination & Facilitation– Gather input from engineering, design, marketing, operations, travel advisors, customer success, and executive leadership; synthesize diverse perspectives and keep all parties aligned and informed
  • Strategic Translation– Work with the EVP and key stakeholders to understand strategic direction and translate it into clear product roadmaps, requirements, and execution plans
  • Product Roadmap Development– Collaborate with the Product & Systems team to develop and maintain the Anywhere platform roadmap based on stakeholder input and strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Requirements & Specification– Translate strategic direction and stakeholder input into detailed product requirements and technical specifications for engineering teams
  • Market Research & User Insights– Partner with internal teams to facilitate ongoing research to understand advisor needs, customer expectations, competitive landscape, and emerging travel technology trends; share findings with stakeholders to inform strategy
  • Launch & Go-to-Market– Partner with marketing and operations to coordinate platform launch activities, including messaging, positioning, advisor adoption, and customer acquisition plans.
  • Performance & Analytics– Define success metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders on platform progress and performance
  • Cross-Functional Communication– Facilitate working groups, ensure clear communication across all departments, and identify and escalate blockers or decisions needed from leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years managing a platform or complex product suite
  • Proven track record launching new products or platforms in the travel, technology, or SaaS sectors
  • Strong technical acumen with ability to work effectively with engineering and data teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate effectively across executive, technical, commercial, operational, and frontline audiences while maintaining alignment across teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional discussions, navigate competing priorities, and move teams toward clear decisions

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the travel industry, including travel advisory, TMC, OTA, GDS, or travel technology environments
  • Background in mobile or web application product management
  • Experience with API-driven product strategies
  • Understanding of travel advisor workflows, operational needs, and common technology challenges
