The opportunity
Join us at Unity in shaping how developers around the world build and operate their games. With our Data Developer Framework, we're pioneering a new approach where developers maintain complete control over their data while Unity provides the infrastructure to collect, organize, and unlock its value—all from one centralized dashboard.

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager for LiveOps Services and Runtime Data to help lead the transformation of shared developer data into compelling, visible value that makes their work easier and their games more successful. This is a unique opportunity to build the features and services that will turn Unity's massive scale into real, measurable impact for game developers globally. You'll create the value loop that connects data sharing to developer success, designing services that make the benefits obvious and undeniable.

What you'll be doing

  • Define and build live operations services that leverage runtime data to personalize experiences, increase user engagement, and improve monetization for developers
  • Create a coherent narrative connecting data sharing to tangible developer success, with concrete proof points built directly into the products
  • Understand developer pain points deeply and design services that address their most pressing needs around live ops and player engagement
  • Partner with data and machine learning teams to power groundbreaking personalization, customization, and engagement tools
  • Shape Unity's overall data strategy by championing developer value and trust in all key decision-making processes

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record building live operations services or developer tools, preferably in games or interactive applications
  • Deep empathy for developer workflows and ability to translate pain points into product solutions that aim to make their jobs measurably easier
  • Strong product sense for designing services around personalization, engagement campaigns, and player retention
  • Familiarity with how data and machine learning can power developer services
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex value propositions to both technical and business audiences

You might also have

  • Experience designing features that encourage data sharing while respecting user privacy and creating mutual value

Additional information

  • International relocation support is not available for this position
