Location: Santa Barbara, CA (Hybrid) or Remote (U.S.)
Department: Product
Reports to: Head of Product

About ShipHawk

ShipHawk is on a mission to build the Intelligent—and Autonomous—Fulfillment OS. Our Advanced Shipping Software and Warehouse Management System (WMS) help retailers, wholesalers, and e-commerce companies solve the most complex challenges in their distribution centers—without thrashing workers, the environment, or the bottom line.

If you’re excited to work at the intersection of physical operations, AI, and digital automation, ShipHawk is the place for you.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and execution of ShipHawk’s Warehouse Management System. This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role responsible for evolving a core product that sits at the heart of our Fulfillment OS.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Executive Leadership to deliver a highly scalable, extensible, and customer-driven WMS. ShipHawk’s WMS uniquely combines the power and flexibility of Tier 1 solutions with a mid-market focus—requiring strong systems thinking and deep operational empathy.

This role reports to the Head of Product and plays a critical role in shaping ShipHawk’s long-term product strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the strategic roadmap for ShipHawk’s WMS, aligning business goals, customer needs, and technical realities

  • Lead cross-functional product execution from discovery through launch, with a strong focus on outcomes over outputs

  • Act as the internal and external product authority for WMS, with deep understanding of customer workflows, industry trends, and the competitive landscape

  • Engage directly with mid-market and enterprise customers to inform prioritization, validate solutions, and support complex implementations

  • Partner with engineering leadership to make informed architectural and platform tradeoffs balancing scalability, flexibility, and speed

  • Drive continuous discovery, experimentation, and validation to ensure releases deliver measurable customer and business value

  • Define, track, and communicate KPIs related to adoption, performance, and product quality

  • Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the maturity of product practices across ShipHawk

About You
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including meaningful ownership of complex B2B SaaS products

  • 3+ years of experience in WMS, logistics, supply chain, ERP, or adjacent operational systems

  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations, fulfillment workflows, and operational constraints

  • Proven ability to ship and scale workflow-heavy, integration-driven products in agile environments

  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, systems architecture, and data-driven decision-making

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to align executives, influence stakeholders, and bring clarity to ambiguity

  • Comfortable operating with high ownership, limited direction, and competing priorities

Nice to Have
  • Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or third-party logistics (3PL)

  • Background working with ERP integrations or embedded analytics

  • Startup or high-growth company experience

  • Prior ownership of platform, infrastructure-adjacent, or automation-heavy products

Why ShipHawk
  • Shape a category-defining fulfillment platform with real-world operational impact

  • Work alongside passionate, smart teammates solving complex physical-world problems

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits

  • Remote flexibility with a collaborative, low-ego culture

  • Clear path to increased scope and product leadership

Compensation

Salary Band: $130,000 – $150,000 base + stock options
Final compensation will be based on experience, location, and role scope.

ShipHawk is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or protected veteran status.
