Mattermost is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of our cyber-intelligent workflows. This is a "rocket ship" role designed for a product leader who wants to build the next generation of mission-critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for defining how the world’s most sensitive organizations operationalize cyber resilience, including mission-critical enterprises, critical national infrastructure (CNI) organizations, and intelligence agencies.

In this role, you won't just be managing features; you will be pioneering the emerging category of Intelligent Mission Environments (IME). You will lead the development of Playbooks, Boards, and agentic capabilities that allow sovereign organizations to maintain command and control in the face of sophisticated cyber threats.

Core Responsibilities
  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and deliver cyber-intelligent workflows that strengthen resilience for mission-critical environments. You will evolve Mattermost Playbooks and Boards into an automated, AI-accelerated operational engine.
  • Operational Orchestration: Design "human-in-the-loop" automation and low-code/no-code workflow orchestration systems tailored for CNI cyber operations, intelligence agencies, and joint command operations.
  • Market Leadership: Position Mattermost as the #1 sovereign collaborative workflow platform for mission-critical enterprises and national-security organizations.
  • Customer Advocacy: Translate the complex requirements of NATO, defense agencies, and national infrastructure providers into actionable product value.
  • Revenue & Value Realization: Drive $ / seat growth by ensuring our workflow and resilience capabilities justify premium positioning within our Enterprise Advanced and future IME offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Customer-facing teams to align deliveries with global customer & market requirements.
Who You Are
  • Mission-Focused Strategist: You have a deep understanding of cybersecurity operations, incident response, and mission-critical command and control.
  • Workflow Architect: You are obsessed with how teams coordinate under pressure. You have experience with workflow orchestration, automation, or secure interoperability.
  • Sovereign Tech Champion: You understand the unique needs of customers who require high-trust, air-gapped, or highly regulated environments.
  • High-Growth Leader: You are looking for a role that scales. You are ready to develop the domain depth required to grow into a Principal PM leading a global portfolio.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in high-growth Cybersecurity, GovTech, or Enterprise SaaS.
  • Domain Expertise: Fluency with cyber-defense frameworks, critical infrastructure protection, or military operational workflows.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of automation platforms, API-first ecosystems, and how AI/agentic capabilities can be applied to operational resilience.
  • Communication: Proven ability to communicate complex technical roadmaps to executive leadership and high-stakes customers.
  • Security & Certifications: Professional cybersecurity credentials such as CISSP are highly valued and considered an asset for this role.

Compensation:
