The Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers don't just use, but love. The ideal candidate will help drive and shape the next phase of ControlUp's innovative platform, using cutting-edge technologies. He or she must have excellent relationship and influencer skills, a strong technical background, proven communication, and presentation skills, be self-motivated and eager to take the initiative, and work well in a geographically distributed team.
The ControlUp Product Management group is responsible for the overall product portfolio, shaping the roadmap, and delivering on strategy.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Take product ownership within the ControlUp SaaS product line
- Lead market and competitive analysis of the Digital Employee Experience market to identify potential trends and opportunities
- Research optional integrations with relevant SaaS/Cloud vendors via publicly available API's
- Validate product strategy and roadmap with ControlUp stakeholders
- Prepare product requirements and detailed specification documents for product features
- Work closely with Dev and QA teams throughout the development cycle
- Identify, design, experiment, and iterate on product decisions by leveraging data and evidence gathered from customers
- Work independently and effectively in a team environment
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Experience from product companies in the IT field
- Extensive experience with IT operations solutions
- Strong technical background and familiarity with endpoint management and IT operations
- Experience in the development and execution of product go-to-market strategy
- Proven ability to work with Dev, QA, sales, and sales engineering teams
- A real passion for product design and user experience (UX/UI)
- Confident decision-making with the ability to influence internal and external partners
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
