Meet the Team

Silicon Labs is building a world-class Broad Market Product Line to accelerate broad-market adoption across our wireless IoT portfolio by delivering complete, scalable “whole product” solutions—silicon, modules, software, tools, enablement, and ecosystem partnerships—through a self-service, low-touch, and standardized go-to-market model.

As Senior Product Marketing Manager – Broad Market Product Line, you will join the Product Marketing & Broad Market organization and lead major initiatives to operationalize the broad market strategy. You will synthesize voice-of-market insights into actionable broad market roadmap and go-to-market priorities, align cross-functional teams, and build repeatable systems to grow and accelerate mass-market customer adoption.

Responsibilities

Broad Market Strategy, Roadmap, and Execution

  • Drive key initiatives in support of the Broad Market Product Line strategy to improve mass-market adoption and the end-to-end customer journey.

  • Drive broad market-focused NPI planning and roadmap development—synthesizing voice-of-market insights into prioritized requirements and recommendations for Product Management and R&D.

  • Collaborate with Segment and Technology Product Marketing leads and Product Management to define broad market positioning, target use cases, and launch plans.

  • Develop and manage business cases for broad market initiatives (growth, profitability, customer experience impact), using data-driven analysis and clear prioritization rationale.

Broad Market Portfolio and Whole-Product Offerings

  • Assess broad market portfolio competitiveness and identify gaps/opportunities to improve our “whole product” offering.

  • Translate portfolio and competitive insights into prioritized inputs for Broad Market NPI/roadmap trade-offs, offer enhancements, and enablement investments.

  • Define scalable broad market offer standards (packaging, lifecycle clarity, and distribution readiness) that reduce adoption friction and improve consistency across the portfolio.

Modules and Ecosystem Partnerships

  • Shape and execute broad market-focused module and ecosystem strategies that expand market reach, accelerate time-to-market, and strengthen differentiation.

  • Identify and drive strategic partnerships (e.g. module vendors, platform/tool integrations) to improve adoption and customer success.

  • Lead partner execution end-to-end—including joint plans/roadmaps, integration milestones, go-to-market, and business reviews to track performance and drive improvements.

Go-to-Market, Enablement, and Launch Readiness

  • Lead and execute broad market-focused go-to-market programs in partnership with Technology/Segment Product Marketing, Global Marketing, Distribution, and Sales teams—ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and high-impact enablement.

  • Develop scalable self-service enablement including content, selection guides, onboarding flows, training, and community readiness.

  • Drive launch readiness for broad market products across internal alignment, external assets, and channel readiness.

Operating Model, Metrics, and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Implement repeatable mechanisms (voice-of-market intake, prioritization frameworks, readiness scorecards, post-launch learning) that improve execution quality and predictability.

  • Establish and report broad market operating metrics (e.g., adoption, design-ins, customer acquisition, funnel conversion, attach rates, support drivers) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with and align global stakeholders across Segment and Technology Product Marketing, Global Marketing, Product Management, R&D, Project Management, Sales/FAEs, Distribution, Community, Legal, and Apps teams to deliver results.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, strategy, or related roles within IoT/wireless/embedded/semiconductors.

  • Strong working knowledge of wireless and microcontroller SoC design parameters and trade-offs, including process nodes, power consumption, RF performance, compute capability, memory, cost structure, and speed—sufficient to engage credibly with R&D, evaluate roadmap and portfolio trade-offs, and translate technical constraints into market-ready broad market decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across diverse business and technical organizations.

  • Experience defining and influencing product roadmaps and NPI plans through voice-of-market, business cases, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Demonstrated business acumen—ability to evaluate trade-offs and drive prioritization decisions using customer impact, revenue/margin, and adoption/funnel metrics.

  • Strong understanding of embedded wireless IoT markets, modules, ecosystems, and technologies including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 802.15.4 (Zigbee/Thread/Matter), sub-GHz, and edge compute.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into crisp, decision-ready narratives and enablement content.

The following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • MBA or equivalent.

  • Experience building and leading teams, including mentoring senior individual contributors.

  • Experience building or scaling a broad market/mass-market product offering (self-service, distribution-led, digital GTM, long-tail customers).

  • Experience in portfolio strategy, pricing strategy, and/or portfolio rationalization.

  • Strong analytical capabilities—experience building business cases tied to adoption funnels, customer acquisition, and profitability outcomes.

  • Familiarity with developer workflows and enablement systems (docs, community, onboarding, reference designs, training).
