About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own and scale our competitive and market intelligence program. This is not a passive research role—you’ll be the connective tissue between what’s happening in the market and how Attentive responds across product strategy, positioning, sales enablement, and customer conversations.
You’ll monitor competitors, synthesize signals from dozens of sources, and translate them into actionable insights and assets that directly impact win rates. You’ll work at the intersection of Product Marketing, GTM, Product, Strategy, and Sales—operating as the internal authority on where Attentive leads, where we’re being challenged, and what we should do about it.
The right person for this role is equal parts analyst, storyteller, and operator. You love digging into the details, but you’re just as energized by shaping the narrative that helps a seller close a deal or a product leader prioritize the roadmap.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Own the end-to-end competitive intelligence program: define the framework, identify priority and emerging competitors, and build the monitoring cadence that keeps Attentive one step ahead
- Track and analyze the competitive landscape across martech, with deep focus on SMS, email, RCS, push, and cross-channel engagement platforms
- Maintain and continuously evolve battlecards in Klue, product comparison matrices, objection-handling guides, and win/loss summaries that directly support deal execution
- Provide direct deal support by joining competitive evaluations and churn-risk calls when specialized CI expertise can tip the outcome
- Conduct rigorous deep dives into competitor product capabilities, pricing and packaging models, new feature launches, and go-to-market strategies
- Develop high-impact internal enablement materials, including battlecards, objection-handling guides, and demo scripts, alongside client-facing competitive comparison assets and thought leadership to drive deal execution and market differentiation.
- Own the win/loss interview program and analyze CRM data to translate patterns into strategic recommendations for messaging, enablement, and product priorities.
- Build and optimize AI-powered workflows to scale intelligence gathering, synthesis, and distribution—staying ahead of the curve on how CI teams operate in 2026 and beyond
- Continuously experiment with new approaches to make the CI program faster, smarter, and more embedded in daily GTM workflows
Your Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, strategy, or a related B2B SaaS role
- Proven track record of building and maintaining competitive enablement materials (battlecards, comparison matrices, objection guides) that sales teams actually use
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill large volumes of information from diverse sources into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can build a polished executive brief and run a compelling sales training with equal ease
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with GTM, Product, Marketing, and leadership stakeholders—earning trust as the go-to competitive expert
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; you can manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities without losing quality
- Strong experience with AI tools and a track record of building new AI-powered workflows to increase the scale and speed of a product marketing or CI function
- Hands-on experience with CI platforms such as Klue or similar tools
You'll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
