About Remarcable

Remarcable is intelligent procurement and material operations for commercial specialty contractors and the distributors who supply them. We connect the field, the office, and suppliers on one platform, so everyone works from the same information from the first requisition to the last invoice. Every part. Every order. Every team. Finally connected.

We come from the trade. Our team includes manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and construction technologists, with more than 100 years of combined experience. We know the chaos well: scattered orders, re-keyed POs, overcharges caught three weeks too late, and a field and office working from different information. We are pro-distributor and supplier-neutral. Our job is to make the counter easier to run and the contractor relationship stronger.

Today Remarcable connects over 250 MEP contractors to more than 1,300 distributors and over 8,600 integrated branches, with more than $1 billion in material moving through the platform every month.

About the role

We're building for distributors, and we're hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to be on the core team for this new go-to-market. This is not a role that inherits a launch calendar. You'll help decide who we build for, what problem we lead with, and how we talk about.

You'll work side by side with product, engineering, sales, supplier success, and our distributor customers. The products, the positioning, and the go-to-market programs are all still being written, and you'll write a good part of them. Distributors run a different business than contractors, with branches, counter staff, outside sales, and margins measured in points. You'll learn that business well enough to talk shop at the counter and in the boardroom.

What you'll do
  • Get out to the branches and the main office. Run customer discovery with distributor owners, operations leaders, inside and outside sales, and counter staff, and bring what you hear back to Product.

  • Define the ideal customer and the buyer. Sort which distributors we serve first, by size, trade, and how they sell today.

  • Write the positioning and messaging for new distributor products from a blank page, in partner language. We make their counter easier and their contractor relationships stronger.

  • Shape pricing and packaging with leadership. Test it with early customers and refine it as the market answers.

  • Plan and run the first launches: beta and early-access programs, launch plans, and the story for each release.

  • Partner with sales on the first sales playbook, including the pitch, demo flow, objection handling, and discovery questions. Then enable the reps who carry it.

  • Turn early customers into proof. That means pilots with clear success measures, case studies, and the numbers distributors care about: orders handled, disputes avoided, and hours back at the counter.

  • Map the competitive field for distributor technology, including ERPs, ecommerce platforms, and homegrown tools, and show where we fit.

  • Work with our partnerships team and industry groups such as NAED to build presence in distribution.

  • Travel at least 25% of the time for distributor visits, trade shows, and internal events.

    What you bring
  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or a technical product.

  • At least one product you helped take from zero to one: the early discovery, the first positioning, and the first paying customers. You should be able to say what you'd do differently.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. When the answer isn't written down yet, you go find it, make a call, and adjust.

  • Strong writing and speaking. You can take a complex workflow and explain it in plain words that a specific audience cares about.

  • A head for the business side. You can talk pricing, margin, and ROI with an owner or CFO.

  • Cross-functional instincts. You've worked closely with Product, Sales, and leadership to agree on a plan and ship it.

  • A self-starter's drive, solid project management, and a bias for action.

  • Experience in wholesale distribution, electrical or plumbing supply, or construction is a strong plus.

Why Remarcable
  • Build product marketing at Remarcable from the ground up.

  • Shape go-to-market for a company doubling revenue year over year.

  • Join a team that values creativity and accountability, and does work that matters to the people who build the communities we live, work, and play.
