We’re looking for a Product Owner to own the operational backbone of our Data Integrations Platform. This role is focused on backlog management, issue prioritization, and execution, ensuring that customer-impacting issues are clearly defined, prioritized effectively, and resolved with high quality.
You will work closely with Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to ensure that incoming issues are translated into clear, actionable work and driven to resolution.
This is a high-impact role that directly influences platform reliability, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage the support and engineering backlog, prioritizing work based on customer impact, severity, and business risk
- Transform ambiguous or incomplete inputs into clear, actionable tickets with defined acceptance criteria
- Ensure all work meets a strong “definition of ready” before engineering begins
- Partner closely with engineering to clarify requirements, answer questions, and reduce rework
- Validate completed work by coordinating testing or performing validation yourself
- Act as the primary coordinator between Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Identify patterns and recurring issues across tickets and surface opportunities for systemic fixes
- Track backlog health (e.g., aging, volume, trends) and provide regular updates on progress and risks
- Proactively identify and improve operational processes, including opportunities for automation and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in a Product Owner, Technical Program Management, or similar execution-focused role
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume backlog with competing demands
- Exceptional written communication skills, especially in structuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria
- Proven ability to take ambiguous or incomplete inputs and turn them into well-defined work for engineering
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on bug fixes, technical issues, or platform reliability
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and keep work moving
- Ability to identify patterns across issues and think beyond individual tickets to root causes
- High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership over quality and outcomes
- Process-oriented mindset with a bias toward improving workflows and reducing inefficiencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on data platforms, APIs, or integrations
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, SQL, or analytics dashboards
- Experience supporting customer-facing technical products or platforms
- Comfort using automation or AI tools to improve operational workflow
What Success Looks Like
- The backlog is consistently well-prioritized, organized, and moving efficiently
- Engineering receives clear, high-quality tickets with minimal ambiguity or rework
- Customer-impacting issues are resolved quickly and effectively
- Recurring issues are identified early and reduced through systemic fixes
- Cross-functional teams (Engineering, Support, CS) experience strong coordination and clear communication
- Operational workflows become faster, more scalable, and less manual over time
