Currently, RG is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager. The Senior Program Manager is an exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of services directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions.  This role is critical in supporting our customer’s overarching mission and will act as the primary interface between Robbins-Gioia and our customer. The Senior Program Manager plays a critical role in supporting the customer’s mission, ensuring cohesive team performance, and maintaining continuity in all communications and deliverables. This individual acts as the primary interface between Robbins-Gioia and the customer, responsible for program leadership, executive engagement, and overall project success.

Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership of the program team to drive performance, accountability, and mission success
  • Serve as the single point of contact (POC) for the government, ensuring consistent, transparent, and proactive communication
  • Exercise executive oversight for contractual, strategic, and operational decision-making, aligned with customer goals
  • Monitor and report on QA, program milestones, schedules, etc.
  • Manage the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with organizational policies and goals
  • Administers internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks
  • Oversees the analysis of business needs and selects IT hardware and software products to support internal business processes
  • Develops detailed documentation of methodologies, processes, and specifications of an organization’s IT systems and assists with the planning of the organization’s IT roadmap
  • Allocates resources and oversees departmental budget to support and manage IT projects through the entire lifecycle
  • Manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity
  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
  • Resolve issues arising from operations that require coordination with other departments
Qualifications

Required Skills

They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value teamwork and productivity and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.  They will also have:

  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Ability to translate business objectives into a multi-year technology strategy.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Navigating complex organizational hierarchies to gain buy-in from C-suite executives and department heads.
  • Change Management: Leading the organization through the cultural and operational shifts that come with new technology implementations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediating between competing priorities of different project teams.
  • SDLC Mastery: Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • IT Infrastructure & Architecture: High-level knowledge of cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity frameworks, and data integration.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight: Ensuring that the cumulative output of all projects meets enterprise-grade standards.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identifying "red flags" across multiple projects before they become program-level failures.
  • Resource Forecasting: Balancing human capital across various workstreams to prevent burnout and bottlenecks.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or Power BI to provide transparent, real-time status updates to the organization.
  • Ability to travel 5% to Oklahoma City, OK and/or Fairfax, VA

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 10+ years of Program Management experience
  • Program Management Certification
  • Ability to obtain a NACI
