Job Description:
The Senior Project Analyst is responsible for providing high-level analytical support to project teams, conducting in-depth project analysis, and ensuring the accurate tracking and reporting of project progress. This role requires a skilled professional with strong analytical abilities, experience in project data analysis, and the capability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to support project success. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to analyze complex project data, generate insights, and provide recommendations for improving project performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed project reports, dashboards, and metrics to track project performance and progress.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of project data by implementing data quality controls and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather data, provide analytical support, and assist in decision-making processes.
- Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to project stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Identify potential project risks and issues through data analysis and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Participate in project team meetings and communicate project status updates to stakeholders
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other project-related documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including analysis methodologies, data sources, and reporting templates.
- Monitor the Strategic Road map for process, progress updates, initiative delivery timeline, and regular progress reporting to senior leadership
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Project Management, a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project analysis or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel rarely required

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 85,000.00 - $100,000.00
