Job Summary**
The Senior Project Manager at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage all phases of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, from initiation to closeout.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Oversee and coordinate project teams, including engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, approve invoices, and ensure financial targets are met.
* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
* Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards.
* Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.
* Conduct thorough project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and lessons learned.
* Mentor and develop junior project management staff.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management within the heavy civil, pipeline, power, or utility construction industry.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile). PMP certification is highly preferred.
* Expertise in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and safety standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
