This role will work closely with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product, and Data teams to introduce rigorous, reliable testing processes that improve confidence in releases and system stability as the company scales. • Perform manual testing to validate new features, bug fixes, and integrations prior to release
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for mission-critical applications and workflows
  • Develop and execute load, stress, and performance testing to validate system behavior under real-world and peak usage conditions
  • Partner with engineering teams to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability risks surfaced through testing
  • Define testing standards, best practices, and handoff criteria from development to QA
  • Partner with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product, and Data teams to identify risk areas and ensure appropriate test coverage
  • Develop and maintain regression testing strategies to support frequent releases
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, partnering closely with engineers
  • Advocate for quality, reliability, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Continuously improve QA tooling, frameworks, and processes as the platform scales

Requirements / Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and modern QA practices
  • Experience with both manual testing and automated testing frameworks
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems
  • Experience designing and executing load and performance tests for distributed systems
  • Familiarity with test automation and load testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, k6, JMeter, or similar)
  • Experience validating integrations with third-party services and APIs
  • Ability to design test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for complex systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical partners

  2. Introduction to Hiring Manager: Meet with the hiring manager (virtually or in-person) to share your background, learn about the role, and align on logistics.
