You’ll collaborate across teams to resolve QA challenges, mentor junior team members, and ensure our secure communication platform meets the highest quality standards through cutting-edge automation practices.

What You Will be Doing

  • Mentor junior QA team members, guiding them in automation best practices and framework usage.
  • Take ownership of complex testing challenges, resolving moderately complex issues independently.
  • Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and aligned with Dispel’s security and performance goals.
Requirements

No candidate will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you!

  • In-depth QA methodologies expertise, with advanced knowledge of multiple product verticals.
  • Proven experience building automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
  • Strong ability to develop comprehensive automated test scripts quickly while maintaining high quality.
  • Experience integrating automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring scalability.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to resolve QA challenges and improve processes.
  • Leadership skills to mentor junior team members and guide automation efforts.
  • Capability to work independently on defined tasks and resolve moderately complex issues.
  • Proficiency in advanced automation tools like Playwright, TestNG, or Appium, and familiarity with containerized testing environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Background in performance and load testing, using tools like JMeter or Gatling, to ensure scalability under high loads.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards such as FedRAMP, with experience validating these through automated tests.
  • Experience with AI-driven testing tools to enhance automation efficiency.
Benefits

This position is an IC 4 at Dispel, and qualifies for:

  • Competitive salary and performance bonus
  • Stock options grant eligibility after 6 months
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous paid time off and holidays

The U.S. base pay range for this position is between $97,000 and $111,000/year with an expected Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) total between $110,000 and $126,000/year (including bonus or commission). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
