About the role
The ideal candidate would have experience with a variety of accounting functions and have specific expertise in revenue accounting. This role requires the candidate to have exceptional technical skills and experience in strategic and analytical thinking, with a firm emphasis on attention to detail.  You should also have the ability to communicate your work clearly with various groups and staff/management at all levels. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries as assigned

• Prepare monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings, both P&L and balance sheet analysis 

• Prepare and lead monthly variance analysis for month-end close meetings and leverage AI tools to perform deep-dive P&L and balance sheet trend analysis.

• Architect and implement AI-driven efficiencies in monthly journal entry and reconciliation workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.

• Ensure 100% controllership integrity

• Ensure finance policies and guidelines are met satisfactorily during review/audit periods

• Assist in driving finance/controllership change initiatives through process improvements to gain efficiencies as needed

• Support Accounting Leaders with Ad hoc reporting and special projects as required

• Utilize AI tools to streamline audit documentation and evidence gathering.

You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• CPA preferred 

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience 

• Highly organized individual who can work independently as well as with cross-functional groups

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills required 

• Strong verbal and written skills, along with good interpersonal skills

• Strong computer skills, primarily Excel, including pivots, vlookups and similar functions

• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions in a timely and accurate manner

• Public accounting/auditing experience a plus

• Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot) to automate repetitive tasks and enhance financial analysis.

• Oracle Financials experience a plus

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
