About this role

As a Salesforce CPQ Developer at Udemy, you will design, develop, and enhance our quote-to-cash capabilities that support our global B2B Sales organization. You will work in close partnership with Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Product Managers, and Architects to deliver efficient, scalable CPQ solutions that streamline quoting, pricing, and contracting workflows.  This role also offers the opportunity to evolve into a Revenue Cloud expert as we plan a future migration from traditional CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud. We are looking for a candidate who brings technical depth in Salesforce CPQ today and the drive to grow into a Revenue Cloud thought leader tomorrow.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and implement complex product configurations and pricing models, including bundles, feature-based rules, term and volume customization, multi-dimensional price rules, and subscription/renewal models with custom price waterfall configurations

  • Develop custom Apex triggers, classes, and test methods for CPQ objects to enforce business rules, automate calculations, and extend standard CPQ functionality

  • Create custom quote templates with dynamic terms, conditional content, and line item grouping that reflect Udemy’s branding and sales processes

  • Configure advanced approval workflows with conditional routing, delegation rules, and automated approval matrices based on discount thresholds and deal parameters

  • Develop custom JavaScript price calculators, quote processors, and CPQ-specific Lightning components to extend functionality beyond standard capabilities

  • Collaborate on the Revenue Cloud migration, including data model transformation, process redesign, and phased implementation planning

  • Work closely with the Salesforce team to build scalable designs, and partner with sales stakeholders to validate requirements and solution options.

  • Troubleshoot complex CPQ performance issues and implement optimization strategies.

What you’ll have

  • 5-8 years of experience configuring and developing Salesforce solutions, with at least 3 years specialized in Salesforce CPQ implementations

  • Required Salesforce certifications:

    • Salesforce Administrator

    • Certified CPQ Specialist

    • Platform Developer 1

  • Hands on experience implementing and customizing Salesforce CPQ including advanced pricing models, product configurations, and approval workflows

  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes and common business needs in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Growing knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud architecture, capabilities, and migration strategies from traditional CPQ implementations

  • Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, and SOQL as applied to CPQ use cases.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment with regular sprint cycles

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex CPQ concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
