Role Overview
The Senior Salesforce Developer will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Architects, Admins, Developers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical implementations while upholding Salesforce best practices.
You will play a key role in solution design, development, code quality, performance optimization, and mentoring other developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions across Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce B2B Commerce.
- Build and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Implement and maintain case lifecycle through different channels (Email, Web, Chat, Phone), omni-channel routing, and knowledge articles. Optimize agent experiences with LWCs, Flows (Screen, Record-Triggered), and Lightning Record Pages.
- Develop and maintain asynchronous and large-scale processing solutions using Batchable Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Integrate Salesforce with internal and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and out-of-the-box solutions.
- Support existing Marketing Cloud implementation and future enhancements using Email Templates, Journeys, Automations, Cloud Pages, Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, etc., aligning with customer engagement strategies for transactional emails.
- Customize and extend Salesforce B2B Commerce capabilities to support complex eCommerce use cases for Corporate and Wholesale customers.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure adherence to Salesforce and YETI best practices, and mentor/collaborate with other developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performance and data integrity concerns.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices (Git, Azure, SFDX). Manage releases and hotfixes
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience, specifically including 4+ years Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments, 2+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages, Content/Audience Builder), AMPscript, SQL, as well as 1+ year of Agent Force and Data Cloud experience
- Strong expertise in Apex (Triggers, Classes, Test Classes, Batchable Apex, REST API), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Flows and other declarative automation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce.
- Strong integration skills (Platform Events, API design), secure data modeling, and performance optimization
- Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, security model, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer/Consultant/Email Specialist, Agentforce Specialist
- Experience supporting global Salesforce environments.
