We are seeking an experienced Senior BODS Developer with a
strong background in Information Steward and data cleansing to join our team.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing complex
BODS processes to transform data and will also have experience using
Information Steward and data cleansing techniques, including URAC and GAC
transforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex BODS processes to transform data from various sources into a structured format for reporting and analysis.
- Use Information Steward and data cleansing techniques, including URAC and GAC transforms, to improve data quality and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for BODS processes and data flows.
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data transformation, data quality, and system performance.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced BODS developers in the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing complex BODS processes to transform data.
- Strong experience using Information Steward and data cleansing techniques, including URAC and GAC transforms.
- Experience in developing and implementing data quality rules, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud would be a plus.
