ABOUT THE TEAM

As part of the Segment Marketing team, segment marketing managers own the
go-to-market strategy for one of our defined audiences. In this role, you’ll focus on
collecting and translating market, competitor, and customer insights into thoughtfully
designed & orchestrated marketing campaigns that activate & engage both prospects
and existing customers.

YOUR MISSION

You’ll lead segment and product marketing strategy for Mural’s Transformation segment (above-the line leaders in the Innovation, Product, Design, Strategy, Digital Transformation, L&D departments, and their employees who receive LUMA certification) shaping the positioning and go-to-market approach for Mural's human-centered design practice, LUMA, including services, software, and partnerships. You’ll serve as the market-facing steward for this segment at Mural, translating customer needs, competitive dynamics, service offerings, and product capabilities into clear strategy, compelling narratives, and effective go-to-market motions.

This role sits at the intersection of AI strategy, product marketing, and go-to-market
execution. You’ll work alongside a team of Segment Marketers who bring those stories
to life across audiences. If you’re excited about AI transformation,
human-centered-design, and scaling new products that have found product-market fit,
this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and evolve the positioning, messaging, and value narrative for the Transformation Leader.

  • Partner with LUMA Product and Revenue Teams to shape Transformation offerings using market insight, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.

  • Translate products, services, and use cases into clear, customer-centric value that can be understood by net-new products, Mural’s install base, LUMA alumni and prospects, and internal Go-to-Market teams.

  • Own go-to-market strategy for LUMA Products and Services, including joint sales motion with Mural Software products, from early validation through GA and iteration.

  • Develop launch narratives, customer-facing assets, and internal enablement materials to support Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.

  • Partner closely with Segment Marketers to activate stories across audience-specific campaigns and lifecycle motions.

  • Collaborate with Content Marketing, Demand Generation, and Communication Teams to shape thought leadership, product storytelling, and top-of-funnel narratives related to Human-Centered Design and AI Transformation.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Product, Sales, Lifecycle, and Marketing teams on Go-to-Market strategy, AI strategy and execution.

  • Provide clarity and alignment across teams working on AI initiatives, balancing consistency with flexibility across segments and use cases.

  • Track and analyze adoption, usage, and engagement to identify opportunities to improve value realization and inform future GTM strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or adjacent roles within Consulting, Professional Services and/or B2B SAAS.

  • Strong customer and market research skills, with the ability to translate insight into clear strategic direction.

  • Experience scaling products and services that have identified product market-fit.

  • Ability to collaborate deeply with Design and Product Teams, and credibility discussing human-centered design methodologies without needing to be hands-on technical.

  • Proven storytelling and content instincts—able to shape narratives that work across thought leadership, campaigns, and product launches.

  • Experience supporting or partnering with GTM teams, including Sales and Lifecycle, through messaging, enablement, and launch execution.

  • Strong judgment, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills in fast-moving environments.

  • LUMA or other Human-Centered Design Certification a plus.

The base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 - $160,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
