Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Manager to spearhead a robust SEO strategy for a dynamic retail business. This role will oversee the entire SEO process, including technical optimization, content development, and on-page enhancements. As a key leader, you will craft and implement strategies, guide a dedicated team, and drive initiatives that support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in large-scale ecommerce SEO and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to boost organic search performance.

  • Oversee technical SEO, including site structure, crawl efficiency, and indexing.

  • Lead content optimization efforts to align with search trends and business goals.

  • Manage and mentor a team of SEO professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and leadership, to align SEO with broader objectives.

  • Analyze performance using industry-standard tools and present insights to stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on SEO trends and integrate innovative approaches, including AI-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Demonstrated success in managing SEO for large-scale retail or ecommerce platforms.

  • Deep understanding of technical SEO (e.g., site architecture, JavaScript rendering, canonical tags).

  • Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools (e.g., GSC, Adobe Analytics, keyword research tools).

  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding teams in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex SEO concepts to varied audiences.

  • Familiarity with agile workflows and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience balancing technical and content-focused SEO strategies.

  • Knowledge of additional analytics platforms and basic web development (e.g., HTML, CSS).

  • Proven ability to collaborate with product, creative, and technical teams.

  • Exposure to AI or automation in digital marketing.

  • Background in retail or seasonal ecommerce SEO.
