Position Purpose:Global Custom Commerce is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer who is ready to take a leap into unknown waters. The Senior Software Developer architects, designs, develops, enhances and tests web and hybrid mobile applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript on the frontend and .NET on the backend to deliver high-quality, responsive experiences across multiple form factors and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- 20% Help your team remain focused on launching new interconnected retail businesses and experiences
- 20% Participate in high-level architecture and design activities as needed by the team
- 20% Design and code features, tests and other application components on both the back end and the front end to meet the needs of the business
- 20% Work closely with developers across the enterprise to share experience and continuously improve our ability to deliver world-class applications quickly
- 20% Take responsibility for tactically leading efforts to drive stories to completion as part of the team

- This position will report to the Director of Interconnected Retail.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Experience developing applications with NServiceBus a plus
- Experience optimizing the browser client experience a plus
- Experience with other server-side stacks (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP etc.) a plus
- Experience developing native or hybrid mobile applications for IOS and/or Android a plus
- Experience with NOSql databases (RavenDB, MongoDB etc.) a plus

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
