Senior Software Engineer - Windows Identity

US Remote

Please note: Due to this role supporting Federal Government requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Windows Identity who is capable of leading features through the whole development lifecycle. People that can explore, design, recommend and develop from scratch innovative ideas and drive a sophisticated product to production. 

What will you do?

As part of our Windows Identity team, you can develop, test, and debug the most complicated real-world problems. To successfully deal with this challenge, you will continuously enrich your knowledge and experience with Windows OS internals and EPP\EDR eco-system. 

The team is a key part of our all-star Windows EPP and EDR development group. In addition to dealing with the toughest bugs we face, you will be a core part of designing and developing the capabilities that will improve the product’s stability and make the user experience smoother.

  • Utilize the expertise in Windows development to enable exciting new product features.
  • Work on user and kernel space software; engage in problem analysis, resolution, and debugging.
  • Work on virtual machines and endpoint software that gets deployed on millions of workstations/servers.
  • Participate actively in the product design, brainstorming meetings, code reviews
  • Work closely with different teams to design and implement innovative features
  • Work with a quality assurance team to ensure delivery of a high quality product. 

What skills & knowledge should you bring?

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer in the area of low-level Windows programming.
  • Expertise in Windows development, C, C++, a must. (any experience with modern C++ 17/20 is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of Windows OS Internals
  • Hands-on experience with Windows low-level development and debugging of Windows applications
  • Experience with different flavours of Windows client and server editions
  • Hands-on familiarity with standard debugging and profiling tools for Windows
  • Experience with Win32 API sets for Windows Base Kernel, Windows Security, Active Directory, and Networking.
  • Knowledge of security aspects of Windows, highly desirable.
  • Ability to pick up and grasp concepts and execute.
  • Ability to work independently and with peers from different time zones.

Base Salary Range
$128,000$176,000 USD
