Job Duties and Responsibilities
You will help build the technologies that enable millions of Americans to connect and converse with information and one another. You will work in a complex, fast paced and highly elastic environment that provides opportunities to navigate across different teams and projects.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect systems and processes to support DISH's wireless goals and cloud-native principles
  • Implement full Kubernetes automation, including deployment, backups, and recovery
  • Define processes and mechanisms for Life Cycle Management and recommend architectural changes
  • Create detailed design documents (Level 3/4) including flow, sequence, and network diagrams
  • Collaborate with Product, Project Management, and application teams to understand business needs and develop solutions
  • Troubleshoot API platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure architecture documentation is up to date


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of system or applications architecture experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate across large organizations and work autonomously in remote environments
  • Strong organizational, self-management, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced environments
  • Expertise in running applications at scale using containers and Kubernetes
  • Specialized in areas like data analysis, catalog design, order management, cloud automation, and software development
  • Proficient in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Java, Spring, Microservices, and integration platforms like Apigee


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, GCP
  • Retail Wireless Experience
  • Specialize in one of the following; data analysis, catalog design, order management, billing, provisioning, mobile, B2B, cloud automation, software development


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year
