This is a fully remote role in the United States.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, Consumer, you will play a pivotal role as part of the team that is building consumer-facing healthcare experiences that help people understand what they’ll actually pay before receiving care. Whether embedded in conversational AI, care navigation platforms, patient portals, scheduling workflows, or health plan and benefits platforms, our estimates give consumers real, personalized prices instead of generic ranges. Turquoise is looking for a talented individual with strong cross-functional skills, data expertise, product intuition, a deep understanding of the revenue cycle and billing and coding, and a passion for giving people certainty about the cost of healthcare.

In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our product team as we research, build, and validate thoughtful and precise pricing, billing, and bundling logic behind our shoppable service packages, providing accurate and clear estimates to consumers through our Consumer Pricing API. You’ll also partner with sales and customer success to scope opportunities well, get customers live, and help them succeed with our products.

Your expertise in our pricing data warehouse will drive more certainty and choice for consumers as they seek to understand the cost of care. You'll have the opportunity to create data-driven solutions, expand product adoption, and actively contribute to our product roadmap.

We encourage you to bring your innovative, analytical, and resourceful mindset to this role. You'll have the chance to solve unique problems, manage multiple projects efficiently, and build strong relationships inside and outside Turquoise. We measure success in two ways: thoughtful and efficient collaboration with product and engineering, and how well customers use our products, starting with careful scoping during the sale and continuing with a great long-term customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with product to define, build, validate and expand our shoppable service estimates, including the pricing, billing, and bundling logic behind them

  • Work closely with data and engineering to make sure our upstream data infrastructure enables accurate estimates and supports our consumer product needs

  • Serve as the go-to technical and product expert and partner for Sales and Customer Success, leading technical discovery, scoping, and demos

  • Guide customers through API integration, implementation, and launch, making sure our products meet their needs, are fully understood, and see strong adoption

  • Gather and prioritize technical feedback from customers, and make sure it drives our product development

What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, billing and coding, claims, care navigation, or digital health

  • Specific expertise working with institutional and professional claims

  • A deep understanding of commercial reimbursement and benefit design and how both translate to what a consumer actually pays for care

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex healthcare datasets

  • Familiarity with APIs (REST, JSON) and how customers integrate them into their products

  • Experience working in a customer-facing technical role, such as solutions engineering, implementation, or management consulting

  • Product intuition and the ability to tackle complex research projects to produce clear answers and recommendations

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills, paired with creative thinking

  • Excellent written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and seniority levels and build strong customer relationships

  • A drive to deliver consistent, accurate, high-quality work at a fast pace

Nice to Haves
  • Experience building or supporting consumer-facing care navigation or digital health products

Benefits
  • Competitive pay with equity options

  • Stellar health care plan options (Medical, Dental & Vision), with FSA, DCFSA, & HSA options

  • Company-sponsored disability & life insurance

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 401(k) + 4% Matching

  • Fully remote work + flexible working hours

  • $750 work-from-home setup budget

  • Paid biannual in-person company summits

  • Quarterly $150 co-hanging stipend to meet up with coworkers

  • Monthly $100 health and wellness benefit

  • Generous paid family leave

  • Annual $1,200 learning & development stipend
