About Push Security

At Push Security, we’re on a mission to defend organizations where work and attacks actually happen: in the browser. For decades, security tools focused on endpoints and networks, leaving the browser, where everyone now works, as a massive blind spot that attackers are exploiting. We are changing that by defining the future of Browser-based Threat Detection and Response. Built by world-class red and blue team experts, Push gives defenders the real-time visibility and control needed to stop modern threats.

Candidates will preferably be based in Texas for this role.

We are searching for a Solutions Engineer to join our fast-growing cyber security startup. We've already established a solid product/market fit, and now we're ready to take Push to market at scale.

You’ll partner directly with our sales team to understand customer needs, articulate the technical value of Push Security, conduct product demonstrations, and ensure successful technical evaluations. Your deep understanding of identity security, cloud technologies, and the cybersecurity landscape will enable you to effectively position Push Security as the premier solution for preventing account takeover and securing the new identity perimeter.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership to our customers and prospective customers and help our team meet their quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide presentations to our customers and prospective customers such as whiteboards, product demos, slides, and proof of value outcomes.
  • Engage with customers in a technical consultancy and advisory role throughout the full customer lifecycle, with an emphasis on pre-sales, but also help out with onboarding, technical support, and business reviews.
  • Build deep relationships with customers to enable them to be Push champions.
  • Help our customers and prospective customers build plans for showing the value of the Push platform in their environment (proof of value).
  • Serve as the customer advocate to other Push teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Invest time in learning new product features, industry developments, and broadening your overall technical skillset.
  • Represent Push in technical forums such as trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events -> willingness to travel is required

Experience the ideal candidate might bring includes:

  • 6 years+ experience in a pre-sales technical role delivering solutions to C-level execs and security experts at enterprise customers
  • Ability to deliver world class demonstrations and training experience to our customers and partners
  • Actively managed technical proof of concepts and/or deployments in the past year during pre-sales engagements and completed more than 20+ POC/Deployments
  • Experience using device management tools such as Intune and Jamf
  • Strong knowledge of modern cybersecurity threats and attack vectors, with a specific focus on identity-based attacks such as phishing, credential theft, and account takeover.
  • Familiarity with security technologies and tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Experience bringing feedback from the field to the product management and engineering teams to help shape the future direction of products and services.
  • A vibrant and energetic personality, this is a customer facing role :)
  • Previous experience working with and deploying EDR agents (bonus)
  • Previous experience writing scripts using Python and PowerShell to interact with APIs (bonus)
