Please note: This is a 9 month contract position.

About the role
  • Find and attract world-class engineers in mobile, backend, infrastructure, data, and full-stack through LinkedIn, GitHub, Discord, and beyond.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and their teams. Understand what makes them successful, define what “great” looks like, and provide the insights that shape our hiring strategy.
  • Run efficient, thoughtful interviews and assessments to quickly identify bar-raising talent.
  • Share the Underdog story with every candidate. Give them a clear view of our mission, culture, and growth while delivering an experience they’ll remember.
  • Own the pipeline end to end. Keep Greenhouse clean, organized, and moving fast.
  • Turn data into impact. Report on pipeline health, uncover market trends, and bring fresh ideas that push our hiring forward.
  • Step into hiring syncs with updates that matter - progress, wins, and what’s next.
Who you are
  • 5+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience with a focus on technical talent
  • Strong ability to evaluate candidate skills, qualifications, and leveling while upholding a high talent bar
  • Great teammate with a track record of building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and recruiting peers
  • Thrives in high-growth environments with the ability to move quickly and decisively
  • Proactive and resourceful problem solver who takes ownership of challenges and drives solutions
  • Adaptable and resilient, able to shift priorities, embrace ambiguity, and maintain momentum
  • Ambitious self-starter with bonus points for full-cycle recruiting experience and closing top talent

Our targeted compensation rate for this position is $75/hr. The starting rate will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

We're a remote-first company and value in-person connection. That said, we expect everyone to gather 2-3 times per year for team and company offsites, trainings, and more.

This position may require sports betting licensure based on certain state regulations.
