Operations Shared Services | Remote | Full-Time

Are you passionate about streaming media and ready to amplify the reach of compelling sports and entertainment content? Scripps is seeking a Senior Specialist, Platform Marketing & Partner Promotions to drive awareness and audience growth for our portfolio of streaming channels. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of securing promotional placements and earned media from FAST, OTT, and other streaming platform partners while coordinating high-impact marketing campaigns that maximize exposure for our priority programming and brand initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Support the development and execution of platform marketing strategies designed to increase visibility, tune-in, and engagement for sports and entertainment content across streaming and television partners

  • Build and maintain day-to-day relationships with key FAST, OTT, connected TV, and platform distribution partners

  • Identify, pitch, and help secure no-cost earned media promotion opportunities from streaming distribution partners across their platforms and marketing channels

  • Manage promotional calendars aligned to content priorities, including sports events, premieres, stunts, marathons, holidays, and other tentpole moments

  • Partner closely with internal teams including programming, creative, social, communications, distribution, and analytics to ensure campaigns are well planned and effectively executed

  • Develop clear and compelling partner-facing materials, including pitch decks, promotional requests, campaign briefs, and recap documents

  • Coordinate campaign execution with external partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and placements are tracked and fulfilled

  • Monitor and report on campaign results, summarizing performance, promotional value, and opportunities to optimize future activations

  • Maintain awareness of trends and best practices across FAST, AVOD, OTT, CTV, and the broader streaming distribution landscape

  • Contribute to internal planning discussions by providing platform-specific insights and recommendations tied to partner opportunities and audience behavior

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred

  • Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Skilled in working within streaming, television, digital media, or sports environments

  • Deep knowledge of streaming network brands, multicast networks, or channel portfolios in the sports and entertainment media landscape

  • Demonstrated success supporting campaigns that secured earned, barter, or value-added promotional support from external distribution or platform partners

  • Strong understanding of the FAST, AVOD, OTT, and connected TV ecosystem

  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns for content, channels, apps, or programming initiatives

  • Experience working with platform partners such as FAST distributors, smart TV manufacturers, OEMs, app ecosystems, or virtual MVPDs

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign results and turn insights into recommendations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and standard marketing/project management tools
