About Us

At xLabs, we provide core infrastructure and contribute to open-source technologies that empower the builders of the Internet of Value. We focus on engineering tools and delivering robust infrastructure to enable the seamless development of decentralized applications. As core contributors to Wormhole, we’re helping build the backbone of the Internet of Value and making contributions to all major blockchains.

About the Role

  • You are capable of working efficiently in distributed teams, with a strong focus on clear and frequent communication.

  • You think critically about the problems presented to the team and can propose multiple solutions, ideally documented in written form.

  • You are proactive, taking initiative while keeping the team’s success in mind.

  • You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps.

  • You have experience with workload orchestration solutions, such as, Kubernetes

  • You can reason about software design and distributed systems.

  • You are proficient in at least one programming language.

  • You have experience running Blockchain RPC nodes and Validators, such as Ethereum, Solana or similar ones

What We Do

We manage compute infrastructure and the applications that depend on it. Most of these applications, like blockchains, are not designed or implemented by us. Thus, we do a lot of reading—documentation, code, Slack channels, and Discord servers—to develop an informed understanding of each app's architecture, best operating practices, and debugging techniques when things go wrong. Documenting what we learn, including what went wrong and how to prevent future issues, is also a big part of our work.

Benefits

  • Fully remote team — US, South America & European time zones preferred

  • Team culture — a collaborative, transparent, and supportive environment where contributions are highly valued.

  • Flexible hours — we value your independence and encourage self-initiative.

  • Generous vacation policy — take the time you need to recharge, with paid time off that respects work-life balance.

  • Growth opportunities — exposure to cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure and open-source technologies.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply. Diverse perspectives make our work stronger, and we’re excited to continue growing a team that reflects that. Our commitment is to create an inclusive, supportive environment where you can do the best work of your career.
