The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Senior Staff Full-Stack Developer who will be integral to a small, top-talent team tasked with leading and supporting a multi-faceted and widely used developer portal . You will help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy distributed, highly available applications and services. Our front-end is built using Blazor/Razor, B ootstrap Our back-end is built using C# and modern .NET. We host our environment in AWS and leverage a Postgres database. We are looking for a full-stack developer that has exceptional full-stack and testing skills and can manage a continuously growing scope .
A Typical Day:

  • Adhere to agile software development and continuous delivery methodologies
  • Research, architect, and build sub-systems that successfully integrate with new and existing platforms
  • Dissolve complex requirements into meaningful, manageable units of work AND be able to coach other team members into the same pattern
  • Thrive on a small team of highly skilled, motivated peers by providing strong development skills as well as coaching and mentorship skills
  • Apply advanced design patterns and technologies when appropriate without over-engineering solutions
  • Own the responsibility of developing high quality software with the right balance of test automation
  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Communicate and document efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to leverage existing Q2 technologies as well as refine by providing constructive and valuable product feedback
  • Manage infrastructure deployments and overall application observability


Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience.
  • Expert level proficiency coding in C# and .NET , JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a server-side rendering project
  • Mastery of a front-end framework (e.g., Ember, Aurelia, Angular, React)
  • Experience with Python developmen t and Git
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as xunit .
  • Practical experience with Domain Driven Design and SOLID principles


  • Qualifications that make you stand out over others:


  • Domain knowledge and experience in the banking industry
  • Experience designing and developing highly scalable, enterprise-grade, event-driven systems
  • Experience with build and deployment automation ( e.g. Gitlab CI/CD , Docker)
