We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Atlantic City, NJ.

Job Description – Objectstream, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's technical needs and contribute to the evolution of our architecture. This position can be worked remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain system architecture, design documentation, and interface control specifications.
  • Provide engineering support for radar distribution systems, to include performing integration, monitoring, performance tuning, and redundancy to ensure uninterrupted delivery of radar feeds to stakeholders.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, gap analysis, and system trade-off studies to support technical decision-making.
  • Design and implement solutions with high-availability (HA), fault tolerance, and automated failover (e.g., clustering, load balancing, redundant services).
  • Provide disaster recovery (DR) planning support to include designing resilient architectures and participating in regular DR exercises.
  • Ensure distributed systems are architected for rapid recovery and continuity of services in the event of system or site-level failures.
  • Provide system integration and testing support, including regression, performance, and failover testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Science.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Must have experience with data and analysis technologies.
  • Provide expertise and assistance with proposal efforts.
  • Must be a US citizen, or hold an immigration status valid for working in the US and have lived in the US for the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to hold and maintain a Secret Clearance.
