What You’ll Do 

Client Work & Strategy 

  • Review and oversee the preparation of business and individual tax returns  

  • Develop proactive tax strategies for clients across a range of industries  

  • Partner with clients to identify planning opportunities and optimize outcomes  

Internal Leadership & Quality 

  • Serve as the firm’s go-to resource for all tax-related matters  

  • Support and review work performed by managers and team members  

  • Establish best practices, processes, and standards for tax work  

Team Development 

  • Train and mentor staff on tax concepts, strategy, and execution  

  • Provide ongoing feedback to improve quality and consistency  

Build the Function 

  • Play a key role in building and scaling the tax function over time  

  • Contribute to hiring, structure, and long-term tax function growth  

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting 

  • CPA  

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting  

  • Strong experience with both business and individual tax  

  • Prior experience reviewing returns and managing work quality  

  • Experience in mentoring and managing team members  

  • Desire to take ownership and grow a function
