Senior Technical Producer

Level is a learning technology company dedicated to helping students build real academic and life skills with confidence and joy. We combine proven curriculum principles with world class interactive design to make meaningful practice something students want to come back to, not something they struggle through.

We support what teachers, schools, and parents are already doing by increasing student engagement with high quality, standards aligned practice that reinforces classroom learning. That’s why we’re building:

For students: Rewarding and motivating learning experiences that build real academic proficiency.

For educators: Tools that fit naturally into instruction and help students stay engaged while reducing teacher workload.

For parents: Whether learning at school or at home, activities that help your kid catch up or get ahead, build confidence, and minimize homework battles.

We are committed to helping every person maximize their potential and live a life of meaning. It’s a difficult problem that requires brilliant people and tremendous effort over time.

We're seeking a Technical Producer to keep our engineering teams shipping. You'll orchestrate complex software projects, remove blockers, and ensure we deliver high-quality code on time across our entire stack.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end production for engineering initiatives across the core engine tech stack

  • Coordinate and own communication between engineering, product, design, and QA—keeping everyone aligned and moving forward

  • Manage release cycles, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies for the core engineering team

  • Identify technical risks and dependencies early, working with engineering leads to solve problems before they become blockers

  • Balance feature development with technical debt, infrastructure improvements, and platform modernization

  • Provide clear engineering status updates to leadership, translating technical complexity into business impact

What You Need
  • 6+ years managing software projects with engineers in game engines, real-time rendering systems, or complex cross-platform technology stacks

  • Strong high-level technical fluency with ability to understand the details—you understand software architecture, core engine features, online systems, and the interdependency between the varying tech stacks

  • Strong organizational skills to structure ambiguous technical work, balance competing priorities, and maintain forward momentum across multiple workstreams

  • Track record of shipping complex features on time by removing blockers and managing dependencies while taking a proactive approach to risk mitigation

  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have
  • Hands-on software engineering, CS background, or experience with game engines (Godot, Unity, Unreal, et al)

  • Experience in edtech, learning platforms, or student-facing applications

  • Familiarity with engineering metrics, code quality tools, and deployment best practices
