The Senior Technical Product Owner - Enterprise Integrations serves as the strategic liaison between business customers and Agile delivery teams, ensuring product development aligns with business goals, enterprise priorities, and long-term product vision. This role is responsible for defining product direction, managing priorities, and driving delivery of high-value solutions that meet customer and business needs. The Senior Product Owner combines strong product management expertise, business sense, and technical understanding to guide multi-functional teams through the full product lifecycle. This individual works closely with stakeholders, architects, business systems analysts, developers, and QA teams to translate complex needs into actionable roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and successful product outcomes.
This role drives product strategy and execution for initiatives with significant business and operational impact, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and delivering measurable value. The individual influences prioritization and investment decisions across product and technology teams, helping to focus efforts on the highest-impact opportunities. They play a key role in strengthening alignment with business partners, improving delivery quality, and boosting overall product value realization. Additionally, this position supports broader enterprise transformation efforts through clear product direction and disciplined, outcomes-focused execution.
Location: This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities:Product Strategy and Vision
- Define and communicate product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned to business strategy.
- Partner with internal customers to understand business needs, opportunities, and priorities.
- Evaluate business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility to shape product direction.
- Lead product discovery, roadmap planning, and prioritization efforts across initiatives.
- Ensure product investments support both near-term delivery goals and long-term strategic outcomes.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are prioritized based on business value, urgency, dependencies, and effort.
- Translate business needs into epics, features, and clearly defined requirements for delivery teams.
- Provide direction and clarification to Agile teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts and technical teams to ensure requirements are actionable and complete.
- Reprioritize backlog items as needed to respond to changing business needs or market conditions.
- Ensure delivery remains aligned to scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
- Build strong relationships with business partners, leadership, and delivery teams.
- Facilitate alignment across customers on priorities, scope, and expected outcomes.
- Communicate product updates, risks, dependencies, and achievements clearly and effectively.
- Drive decision-making and resolve conflicts or ambiguity related to requirements, scope, or priorities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for business collaborators throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead collaboration across business, architecture, engineering, QA, UX, and support teams.
- Ensure teams understand the “why” behind product priorities and business outcomes.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide leadership on sophisticated initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, or business areas.
- Promote continuous improvement in product processes, team collaboration, and delivery effectiveness.
- Monitor product progress, outcomes, and adoption using dashboards, important metrics, and collaborator feedback.
- Evaluate delivered features to ensure they align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Find opportunities for optimization, innovation, and future improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and guidelines in product management and Agile delivery.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for assigned business capabilities or platforms.
- Work with business customers to identify needs, define outcomes, and prioritize initiatives.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implementation aligns with intended business value.
- Drive backlog refinement and ensure readiness for sprint planning and execution.
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and communicate updates to collaborators and leadership.
- Supervise product performance and recommend enhancements based on data, feedback, and business priorities.
- Support business case development, funding discussions, and strategic planning for future initiatives.
- Champion a customer-focused approach centered on delivering meaningful results.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role within Agile software delivery environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent area preferred.
- Technical knowledge of backend integrations, API, MongoDB and Java.
- Experience in enterprise or large-scale backend integration product environments.
- Experience working with business process transformation, customer-facing platforms, or internal enterprise systems.
- Scrum Product Owner, or related Agile/Product certification is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience owning product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and delivering technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams and influencing customers across business and IT functions.
- Good experience applying Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Ability to define strategy while also managing tactical execution details.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to shape vision, manage priorities, and deliver sophisticated initiatives.
- Solid understanding of product ownership principles, Agile delivery, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to translate business strategy into product roadmaps and actionable requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with proficiency in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to build credibility and influence across teams and leadership levels.
- Comfortable working in both technical and business environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates a solid grasp of system integrations, business processes, and enterprise application delivery.
- Analyzes sophisticated business and technology challenges to define practical, scalable solutions.
- Balances contending priorities, customer expectations, and delivery constraints.
- Use sound judgment to make decisions in ambiguous or evolving environments.
- Adjust plans and priorities as new information, risks, or business needs emerge.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
