Our goal is to be the global backbone of commerce. Our Values

Cart.com is building a company committed to living out these 6 core values:

  • Be brand obsessed: Our lives are shaped by the brands we interact with daily. We obsess over the brands we serve, and about the things they care about.

  • Think beyond the box: "We've always done it that way" is not a phrase uttered often at our office. We create creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Don't give up: We learn from our challenges and see them for what they are; great building blocks to an amazing brand story.

  • Speak up: We communicate clearly and directly because we care deeply. Communication is the bedrock of our community.

  • Work together: We've built a team that prides itself on diversity of thought and background. Collaboration is better with contrast.

  • Remember to be human: We work hard, but we leave room for the people, places and things that we love.

AI is part of how we work. It’s not doing the hiring.

We'll use AI in parts of our process and we think you should feel free to use it too — for research, prep, whatever helps. But our interviews exist to meet you, not your best AI-assisted draft. Real people make every call here. Any questions about how this works, just ask: [email protected]

The Senior Technical Product Manager is responsible for driving strategy, discovery, and execution across Cart.com's fulfillment and operational platform. As a senior member of the Product team, you will own complex product domains that sit at the intersection of Operations, Engineering, Data, and Customer Experience, translating operational challenges into scalable technology solutions that drive meaningful business impact.

You will partner closely with fulfillment leaders, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities that improve operational efficiency, increase throughput, reduce costs, and enhance customer outcomes. This role requires a strong systems thinker who can navigate ambiguity, leverage data to inform decisions, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate combines deep operational curiosity with technical fluency and product leadership, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results across Cart.com's fulfillment network.

What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Domain Ownership
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for key operational and fulfillment product domains.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities that improve operational efficiency, scalability, throughput, inventory accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Product Leadership to define long-term platform capabilities and investment priorities.
  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations supported by data, operational insights, and customer feedback.
  • Influence cross-functional roadmaps and ensure alignment between product initiatives and organizational objectives.
Product Discovery & Problem Solving
  • Lead complex discovery efforts using process analysis, stakeholder interviews, operational observation, data exploration, and experimentation.
  • Identify root causes of operational challenges and uncover opportunities for automation, optimization, and product innovation.
  • Build a deep understanding of fulfillment workflows and develop scalable solutions that improve network performance.
  • Use operational and customer insights to define high-impact problems and ensure product investments are focused on measurable outcomes.
Technical Product Management
  • Define product requirements, workflows, and success metrics that provide clarity for engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs and ensure solutions align with long-term platform strategy.
  • Drive roadmap prioritization and delivery across OMS, WMS, TMS, and adjacent operational systems.
  • Establish product telemetry and performance metrics to monitor adoption, operational impact, and customer outcomes.
  • Participate in release planning, governance, and operational readiness activities.
Data, Analytics & AI Enablement
  • Leverage SQL and operational data to identify trends, quantify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure business impact.
  • Develop analytical frameworks that support prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Actively utilize AI tools throughout the product lifecycle to accelerate discovery, analysis, documentation, solution development, and experimentation.
  • Champion the responsible and effective use of AI to enhance both product development and operational performance.
Stakeholder Leadership & Influence
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to operational and business leaders, influencing product strategy and execution priorities.
  • Lead alignment across Operations, Engineering, Data, Customer Experience, and GTM teams.
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and results effectively to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive consensus across competing priorities while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
Who You Are
  • A strategic product leader who thrives in complex, operationally intensive environments.
  • Passionate about solving challenging business problems through technology, data, and process optimization.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining structure where none exists.
  • Highly collaborative and influential, capable of aligning stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
  • Analytical and intellectually curious, using data and customer insights to drive decisions.
  • Equally comfortable discussing warehouse workflows, technical architecture, and business strategy.
  • A strong communicator who can navigate both executive-level discussions and detailed product execution conversations.
  • Fluent in leveraging AI tools as an extension of rigorous product thinking, experimentation, and problem-solving.
What You've Done
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Product Operations, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated ownership of significant product domains, programs, or platforms with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience within fulfillment, logistics, supply chain technology, warehouse operations, commerce platforms, or operational SaaS environments.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency with experience independently exploring complex datasets to inform product strategy and prioritization.
  • Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and deliver initiatives that improved operational KPIs such as throughput, inventory accuracy, cycle times, labor efficiency, or cost per order.
  • Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong experience working with engineering teams in Agile environments, including backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and release execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across Operations, Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership teams.
  • Experience defining and measuring success through KPIs, experimentation frameworks, telemetry, and operational analytics.
  • Proven track record of operating independently and delivering results in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, discovery, requirements development, analysis, and product execution.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), or fulfillment technology ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale operational transformation or automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of fulfillment network design, workforce optimization, inventory management, or transportation operations.
  • Experience working in Commerce, Retail, eCommerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain technology organizations.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, machine learning applications, and AI-enabled operational solutions.
  • Experience presenting product strategy and investment recommendations to executive audiences.
