We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the roadmap for ActivTrak’s endpoint data-collection agents and workforce data integrations. You’ll own the strategy and success of the systems that capture real-time work activity and enrich it with contextual HRIS and WFM data — powering our analytics, insights, and AI models.

Our agent technology runs on hundreds of thousands of endpoints and is core to our data platform. This role is ideal for a PM who has shipped agent-based or deep integration platforms at scale and enjoys solving complex distributed-system and data challenges.

What You’ll Own

Data Collection Agents
Lead the vision and roadmap for Windows, macOS, browser, and VDI agents. Drive improvements in data capture, resiliency, performance, and security. Partner with engineering on architecture, OS-level capabilities, deployment models, and long-term scalability.

Data Integrations
Own ingestion for HRIS, scheduling, calendars, and workforce systems. Define scalable APIs and integration patterns (webhooks, ETL, batch, event-driven) to deliver accurate, privacy-aligned contextual data.

Product Leadership
Translate customer needs into clear requirements. Guide cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality features. Define KPIs, instrumentation, and success metrics while balancing speed, technical constraints, and long-term platform health.

Technical Partnership
Work hands-on with engineering and data teams. Read and interpret technical docs, schemas, and logs to drive product decisions. Troubleshoot issues, validate agent releases, and simplify complex system challenges.

Reliability, Privacy & Compliance
Ensure data handling meets GDPR, SOC2, ISO, and ActivTrak privacy standards. Champion data minimization, transparency, and platform resilience.

What Success Looks Like
  • Higher agent reliability, data quality, and customer trust
  • Scalable workforce data integrations that drive richer insights and adoption
  • Reduced agent issues across environments and platforms
  • A clear multi-quarter roadmap that balances innovation and stability
  • Becoming the internal expert on agent technology and distributed data ingestion

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS product management
  • 3+ years with endpoint agents, OS-level platforms, browser extensions, or distributed systems
  • Experience shipping data-collection agents or ingestion platforms at scale
Deep knowledge of Windows/macOS internals, browser APIs, packaging, and performance tuning
  • Strong understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT, event pipelines, and data synchronization
  • Ability to read schemas and reason about identity and data models
  • Proven success leading complex technical projects with engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in workforce analytics, HR tech, or operations tools
  • Background in integrations platforms or ingestion frameworks
  • Familiarity with privacy-by-design and sensitive data handling
  • Technical background in CS, engineering, or systems administration

Benefits

Work Environment
  • Remote-first within the U.S.
  • Minimal travel for team or customer engagement
  • Highly collaborative, globally distributed team
