At LiquidStack, we’re redefining what’s possible in the data center world. As a global leader in advanced liquid cooling solutions, we’re powering the future of AI, edge computing, and high-performance systems. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for skilled professionals who want to be part of something innovative and impactful.

The Senior Technical Product Manager plays a critical role in shaping the strategy, performance, and lifecycle execution of LiquidStack’s liquid cooling product portfolio supporting hyperscale, enterprise, and industrial markets across North America.

This role operates as a high-ownership individual contributor responsible for aligning product roadmap decisions with engineering execution, customer requirements, commercial objectives, and financial performance. The position bridges technical architecture, market opportunity, and operational scalability to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, differentiated, and margin accretive.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, structured financial thinking, disciplined new product introduction (NPI) experience, and executive-ready communication skills. This individual will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive measurable business outcomes in a rapidly evolving AI-driven infrastructure market.

This role reports to the Vice President of Product (or equivalent functional leader).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap Leadership

Define and execute a 2–3 year product roadmap aligned with revenue growth and margin objectives.
• Translate Voice of Customer insights into scalable, repeatable product capabilities.
• Conduct competitive analysis across thermal management and data center infrastructure markets.
• Identify platform extensions and adjacent market opportunities to expand total addressable market.
• Align product architecture decisions with manufacturability, cost structure, and scalability considerations.

Financial & Commercial Performance

• Maintain visibility into portfolio revenue, gross margin, and cost structure performance.
• Partner with Finance to develop pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives.
• Build business cases and ROI models for new product features and capital investments.
• Support Sales in strategic enterprise engagements requiring technical and financial credibility.
• Contribute to forecasting inputs and demand planning coordination

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Lifecycle Management

Lead structured stage-gate processes from concept through commercialization.
• Drive cross-functional launch readiness across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
• Define product KPIs and monitor post-launch performance metrics.
• Identify cost optimization and product improvement opportunities.
• Support lifecycle transitions, portfolio rationalization, and end-of-life planning.

Market & Customer Engagement

• Engage directly with hyperscale, collocation, and enterprise customers to validate requirements and value propositions.
• Translate complex engineering performance metrics into clear commercial differentiation.
• Monitor regulatory, energy efficiency, and industry standards impacting data center cooling solutions.
• Represent Product in executive-level customer discussions when required

Cross-Functional Governance & Decision Support

• Establish structured product reviews and performance reporting cadence.
• Present data-informed recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensure alignment between engineering execution, commercial strategy, and operational readiness.
• Support continuous improvement of product governance processes.

HOW DECISIONS ARE MADE

Product decisions at LiquidStack are:
• Data-informed (financial, technical, and market inputs)
• Customer-centered and performance-driven
• Cross-functionally aligned
• Focused on scalable, repeatable impact

Senior Technical Product Managers are expected to bring structured recommendations, defined trade-offs, and clear financial rationale, not simply identified problems.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within 12–18 months, successful performance in this role will demonstrate:

• A clearly defined and cross-functionally aligned product roadmap
• Measurable improvement in gross margin or cost structure within the assigned portfolio
• Successful launch or enhancement of differentiated platform capabilities
• Increased executive confidence in product investment decisions
• Strong alignment between engineering delivery and commercial objectives
• Continuous improvement in governance, reporting, and lifecycle rigor

Success is defined not only by product delivery, but by disciplined decision-making, collaborative execution, and measurable business impact.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• 5–8 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Line Management, or infrastructure-focused roles
• Experience in data center infrastructure, HVAC, thermal management, power systems, or industrial equipment environments
• Demonstrated experience influencing pricing, revenue performance, or margin outcomes
• Experience managing hardware or electro-mechanical products through structured lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with stage-gate or formal NPI methodologies
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities (advanced Excel proficiency required)
• Ability to interpret technical performance data and translate into customer-facing value propositions
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
• Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment capability
• Process improvement mindset and operational discipline
• High degree of accountability and ownership
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%
