Our unified technology platform provides real-time actionable insights that drives cost savings, powers clinical services and results in a brilliant customer experience. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and engineering execution. You will leverage deep technical expertise to partner with business owners and dev teams, translating a defined product strategy into a defined technology solution. You don’t just manage a roadmap; you influence its priorities, drive architectural simplification, and ensure our technology scales efficiently to solve widespread industry deficiencies.

What you will do:

  • Program Strategy & Execution: Lead end-to-end programs, from multi-year roadmap facilitation to execution. You will translate corporate strategy into actionable deliverables while independently navigating environments where the technical solution is not yet defined.
  • Strategic Communication: Act as the primary communicator for high-complexity projects. Synthesize detailed project info into concise, data-backed updates for leadership that highlight both technical progress and business impact.
  • Technical Oversight & Simplification: Drive technical transparency and identify risks caused by complexity. You will drive efficiency in existing architectures to unblock delivery and ensure technical designs meet high-quality standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize cross-team processes and software development workflows. You will instill best practices and create collaborative mechanisms that set a standard for the entire organization.
  • Influence & Leadership: Drive consensus across engineering, product, and operations. You will mentor junior team members and demonstrate the courage to make difficult prioritization calls under pressure.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, with a track record of delivering high-visibility, multi-team initiatives.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to connect project-level work to broad business goals and cost optimizations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the SDLC, Agile, and the ability to converse fluently on complex engineering architectures and security/privacy.
  • Leadership: Experience mentoring peers and driving team growth through hiring and process excellence.
  • Adaptability: Comfort in a "Senior II" role where you deliver independently but seek strategic direction when necessary to align with the broader org.
  • Knowledge in security and privacy is a nice to have
  • Experience with program management for projects that span multiple years and span multiple teams in geographically disparate locations.
  • Experience commercializing technical product launches and comfortable conversing on technical topics and products.
