Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Technical Project Manager to lead multiple, concurrent development and validation  projects globally. This role requires an individual with exceptional leadership that has a proven track record of delivering and managing complex projects from concept to production  while keeping to budget and on-time delivery.

You will be the central hub to drive a multi-disciplinary team of system design,  hardware and software engineers to deliver on validation of solutions and products. Your primary mission is to ensure flawless execution, mitigate risks proactively, and drive decisions that align with our strategic business objectives of performance, cost, and time-to-market.

Position can be based in San Jose, CA or Dallas, TX

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle for multiple projects
  • Global Team Coordination: Lead and synchronize the efforts of large, dispersed, cross-functional teams across different time zones and cultures.
  • Strategic Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules (using Gantt charts, Agile/Waterfall hybrids), and resource allocation models. Identify critical paths and dependencies across projects.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, quantify, and develop mitigation strategies for technical, logistical, and supply chain risks. Lead contingency planning efforts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, providing clear, concise, and data-driven updates on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage expectations and secure buy-in for critical decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Champion the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the organization. Mentor junior project managers and technical leads.
  • Cross-Functiional Collaboration : Work closely with leaders across Marketing, Product development, Application Engineering and Sales/FAE teams to create cohesive project development plans.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality, reliability, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct project/program management experience within the semiconductor industry or at a product development firm.
  • Direct working knowledge of MCUs, Power Management, Connectivity products
  • Knowledge of Embedded design including firmware, hardware and software
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex semiconductor projects concurrently, from definition to production ramp.
  • Expertise with advanced project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Critical Chain).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
