We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior UI Developer to join our team located within the continental United States..


As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

 

 

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain micro-product UIs in React (Angular where needed) that mount into a shared shell
  • Build micro-frontends using Nx and Module Federation, including more than one framework on the same page
  • Build reusable components with React MUI (and Angular Material), working from the UX team's Figma designs
  • Use and extend the shared design token layer so products pick up brand changes without rework
  • Design component APIs other teams can rely on, and own versioning and migration notes for breaking changes
  • Integrate with Okta (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT) across the shell and products, and with REST and GraphQL services
  • Write automated tests: Jest for unit tests, Playwright or Cypress for end-to-end, plus visual regression
    Document components in Storybook
  • Build to WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard navigation, screen reader support, focus management
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, with quality gates
  • Turn requirements into technical designs and implementation plans, using AI-assisted tools throughout
  • Mentor engineers and lead code reviews 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of front-end engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on React (18+) with TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of Angular
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS: DOM, responsive layout, cross-browser
  • Has built a shared component library or design system that other teams used
  • React MUI, including theming and style overrides
  • Design tokens and multi-theme styling
  • Storybook
  • WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility in practice
  • Automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing
  • CI/CD and Git-based workflows
  • Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Codex), including writing good prompts and repo instruction files
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • Micro-frontend architecture with Nx and Module Federation
  • Web components or Lit
  • Publishing npm packages with semantic versioning
  • Visual regression testing at scale
  • GraphQL
  • Okta or another enterprise identity provider
  • Major framework upgrades in a library used by several products

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,700.00 to $120,500.00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
