About the role:

The Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales at Aalo Atomics is a critical executive role responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping commercialization strategy, and building long-term customer and partner relationships in the advanced nuclear energy market. This role combines strategic leadership with deep industry engagement across utilities, industrial customers, data centers, and government stakeholders.
How You Can Make An Impact:

  • Lead and scale the commercial sales organization, aligning sales strategy with corporate growth objectives and deployment timelines for Aalo’s reactor technology.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive commercial adoption of advanced nuclear solutions across key segments such as utilities, industrial energy users, and government agencies.
  • Own revenue generation and pipeline development, establishing forecasting processes, sales targets, pricing strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Cultivate strategic customer relationships, including long-cycle, high-value engagements with energy buyers, infrastructure developers, and public sector entities.
  • Drive complex deal structuring and negotiations, long-term service agreements, and financing-aligned commercial models.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, policy, finance, and operations teams to align customer requirements with product development, deployment, and licensing pathways.
  • Engage in market development and education, helping customers, regulators, and stakeholders understand the value proposition of small modular/advanced nuclear solutions.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team, establishing best-in-class account management, business development, and strategic sales capabilities.
  • Represent Aalo Atomics externally, including with regulators, industry groups, investors, and key partners, while providing market insights and sales performance updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years of executive leadership experience in commercial sales within energy, infrastructure, or other highly regulated, capital-intensive industries.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing large, complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles and high deal values.
  • Deep expertise in energy markets and infrastructure development, including utilities, power generation, and emerging demand segments such as data centers and electrification.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure sophisticated commercial agreements, including multi-year, project-based, or asset-backed transactions.
  • Strong network and credibility across utilities, industrial energy buyers, EPCs, developers, OEMs, and government stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate advanced technical solutions into clear customer value propositions and scalable commercial models.
  • Extensive experience navigating regulated environments, with exposure to nuclear, energy, or comparable sectors strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite, technical, and policy decision-makers.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, including market intelligence, demand forecasting, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing commercial teams in high-growth or emerging technology environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools to manage complex pipelines, forecasting, and customer lifecycles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, economics, or business preferred (advanced degree a plus).
