We were tired of hearing that healthcare is broken, so we decided to do something about it. At Nomi Health, we believe the care itself isn’t broken — it’s the business of healthcare that gets in the way. Every year, more than $1 trillion is wasted on paperwork, delays, and middle layers that drive up costs and keep people from the care they need.

We’re rebuilding the system so it works the way it should: clear prices you can trust, faster payments that keep providers focused on patients, and data that helps employers make better decisions. Our work has already touched more than 30 million lives — from local communities in Michigan to some of the largest companies in the country.

We are seeking a strategic and highly operational Senior Vice President of FP&A to join our team. You will report directly to our CFO. You will lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across Nomi Health. You will serve as a key thought partner to our CEO, CFO, business unit leaders, and executive leadership team, shaping financial strategy, supporting growth initiatives, and driving accountability across the business.

We are looking for someone that brings deep experience in high growth, complex organizations and can balance long range strategic thinking with hands on execution. You will build scalable financial processes, deliver clear insights, and help guide Nomi Health through its next phase of expansion. This is an incredibly exciting time for Nomi as our market-leading analytics business is profitable and growing steadily and our two early-stage businesses are scaling rapidly.

How you will make an impact

  • Strategic Finance & Executive Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO and executive team on financial strategy, growth initiatives, and capital allocation
  • Provide forward looking insights that inform business decisions
  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities tied to rapid growth
  • Financial Planning, Forecasting & Modeling
  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and multi-year financial planning processes
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to support cash management, pricing, unit economics, investment decisions, and scenario planning
  • Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and financial plans across all business units
  • Performance Management & Analytics
  • Establish and refine KPIs that drive operational discipline, margin improvement, and scalable growth
  • Partner closely with business leaders to analyze revenue, cost drivers, profitability, and performance trends
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Board, Investor & External Reporting Support
  • Lead preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and executive reporting
  • Develop compelling financial narratives that clearly articulate performance, risks, and strategic priorities
  • Support diligence, financing, and strategic partnership activities as needed
  • Team Leadership & Infrastructure
  • Centralize FP&A across the company
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high performing FP&A team, including developing and elevating existing FP&A talent
  • Partner with Accounting for key deliverables, including the monthly close
  • Implement systems, tools, AI workflows, and processes that improve forecasting accuracy, reporting speed, and financial transparency
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What we are looking for

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven success leading financial planning and analytics in a high growth, multi-line or services driven organization
  • Strong understanding of one of SaaS, healthcare, or payments-based business models preferred
  • Exceptional ability to translate financial insights into strategic and operational action
  • Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
  • Experience supporting Boards, investors, and executive leadership teams
  • Investment banking experience a plus

Nomi Health delivers disruptive healthcare solutions, in partnership with like-minded employers, public sector organizations, advisors (brokers/consultants), and payers/TPAs. We’re a team of 300+ people who show up every day with the same mindset: don’t settle for “that’s just how it is.” Real change happens when you challenge the system, cut through the excuses, and build something better together.
