The role.

Huge is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to create high-quality digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will translate concepts and ideas into compelling, cohesive visual experiences while ensuring consistency, scalability, and strong attention to detail across digital products.

You will work closely with UX, Product, Development, and Creative Direction teams to bring ideas to life through visual design, design systems, prototypes, and iterative experimentation. 

What you’ll be doing.
  • Develop compelling visual concepts and translate abstract ideas into cohesive digital experiences.
  • Design high-quality experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Create and maintain scalable Design Systems, components, libraries, and UI assets.
  • Create new and updated components to support A/B testing and iterative design experiments.
  • Develop mockups and prototypes that effectively communicate the intended product vision.
  • Apply Atomic Design principles to create modular and reusable visual systems.
  • Create light motion and animation work using After Effects or similar tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, leveraging a basic understanding of CSS to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Design experiences that adapt effectively across languages, regions, and localized content.
  • Partner with UX, Product, Development, and Creative Direction throughout the design process.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to clients and confidently communicate the rationale behind design decisions.
  • Contribute to a product-driven and user-centered design process.
What we’d like to see.
  • 4–6+ years of experience designing high-quality digital products across web and mobile platforms.
  • Strong conceptual design skills and the ability to turn abstract ideas into visually compelling concepts.
  • High proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, variables, and auto layout.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Design Systems and scalable visual systems.
  • Experience creating and updating components and UI assets for A/B testing and iterative design.
  • Strong skills in creating mockups and prototypes.
  • Knowledge of Atomic Design principles and modular design systems.
  • Basic understanding of CSS and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.
  • Strong UI and localization experience across languages and regions.
  • Experience working in product-driven and user-centered environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across UX, Product, Development, and Creative Direction.
  • Confident client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present, explain, and defend design decisions.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
