.About the role

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining and iterating on the current website by translating design concepts into functional, user-friendly experiences. The Web developer will ensure responsiveness across devices, integrating features, and optimizing performance, working with designers and backend teams to meet business and user needs. This role requires a blend of advanced front-end development, performance engineering, and content architecture to ensure a seamless and high-performing user experience.

  • Responsibilities

    • Development: Build and maintain modular, type-safe component libraries and responsive web experiences.

    • Architecture: Manage headless CMS (Sanity) and visual builder (Plasmic) integrations for scalable content workflows.

    • Performance: Own Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) through data-driven monitoring and optimization.

    • Growth/MarTech: Implement technical SEO, tracking ecosystems (GTM) and data privacy compliance (Ketch/Freshpaint).

    • Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and Growth teams in an Agile environment.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Experience & Mindset

    • Seniority: 5+ years of professional web development experience.

    • Ownership: Self-starter mindset with a track record of diagnosing "deep-stack" performance issues.

    • Principles: Commitment to SOLID principles and writing clean, testable code.

    Technical Stack Expert

    • Frameworks: Mastery of Next.js (App Router, ISR, Middleware) and TypeScript.

    • UI/UX: Proficiency with Tailwind CSS, Plasmic, and React.

    • Backend/CMS: Experience with Sanity CMS and AWS infrastructure.

    • Ops/Monitoring: Hands-on with Vercel (CI/CD) and Sentry.

    Growth & Compliance

    • MarTech: Experience managing tracking ecosystems (GTM) and balancing tracking scripts (Meta, Google Ads, GA4) with performance budgets.

    • SEO: Technical mastery of Schema.org, sitemaps, and crawl budget optimization.

    • Privacy: Implementation of CMPs (like Ketch/Freshpaint) for HIPAA/CCPA compliance.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with limited travel for team meetings. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
