About Propellic

Propellic is the AI-first digital marketing agency for travel and tourism brands. We pair cutting-edge performance marketing with a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and radical candor—so every teammate can do the best work of their career while shaping the future of travel.

About the role

As an SEO/GEO Manager, you'll develop and execute SEO/GEO strategies across technical SEO, content, authority, and AI-driven visibility for complex and higher-value travel accounts. You'll diagnose performance, produce implementation-ready recommendations, and make AI-powered tools part of your default workflow.

Account Managers own the client relationship day-to-day, while Project Managers own workflow, scope, schedule, and delivery controls. You'll equip both with the expert input they need and join client calls when deeper technical detail is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute integrated SEO/GEO strategies across technical SEO, content, authority/link acquisition, and AI visibility.

  • Build quarterly roadmaps tied to client business goals, North Star metrics, and relevant organic-search and AI-visibility KPIs.

  • Produce implementation-ready work, including technical audits, opportunity analyses, keyword/topic research, content briefs, AI-readiness audits, entity and citation analysis, preferred-source monitoring, and content-passage refresh recommendations.

  • Analyze performance, diagnose material changes, and translate the data into clear weekly, monthly, and quarterly input for Account Managers.

  • Partner with Project Managers on estimates, dependencies, status, QA, and scope/time/budget risks; keep task records, deliverable links, and risk flags current.

  • Coordinate with link building, development, Paid Media, and external specialists; review assigned work for quality and Propellic standards.

  • Use AI-driven tools for research, analysis, QA, documentation, content planning, and workflow automation where they earn their place—and know when human judgment should override them.

  • Test emerging search experiences, GEO methods, tools, and deliverable approaches; document what works so the team can scale it.

  • Join client calls as the SEO/GEO subject matter expert when Account Managers need deeper technical or strategic support.

What Success Looks Like
  • SEO/GEO deliverables land on time, within scope, and ready for client delivery with required QA complete.

  • Strategies connect organic-search work to business goals and include relevant GEO / AI-visibility initiatives—not isolated tactics.

  • Account Managers receive clear, usable performance insight and can confidently lead the client conversation.

  • Project Managers can rely on accurate estimates, current status, visible dependencies, and early risk flags.

  • AI tools are used with good judgment: applied where they help, questioned where they don't.

  • New search features, GEO methods, and tools are tested regularly, with results documented and shared.

Who You Are
  • 3+ years of SEO experience, including 1+ years in an agency environment managing multiple simultaneous accounts.

  • Direct expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, authority/link acquisition, measurement, and implementation QA.

  • Practical experience with GEO / AI visibility, including how AI Overviews, generative search, answer engines, and citation/source patterns affect discovery.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in SEO research, analysis, content planning, QA, reporting, or workflow automation—and curiosity to keep testing.

  • Able to turn performance data and technical findings into a clear takeaway for a non-technical audience.

  • Comfort working through Account Managers and Project Managers: you provide deep expertise without needing to own the day-to-day client relationship or project administration.

  • Experience serving travel or hospitality clients.

  • No attachment to ‘the way we've always done it.’ You'd rather test a new idea than defend an outdated process.

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. or ability to contract internationally.

What We Offer
  • Remote-first flexibility with a high-performing global team.

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans + 5% 401(k) match (U.S. employees). Similar benefits for Canadian employees.

  • Generous PTO, company holidays, and an annual week-long destination company retreat.

  • A company-supplied MacBook.

  • Wellhub or similar benefits for company-subsidized wellness/gym access.

  • Annual budget for professional development and industry conferences.

  • A culture that values experimentation, autonomy, and radical candor.

Work Requirements
  • Reliable high-speed internet and comfort with virtual collaboration tools.

  • Availability for core work hours around 9a-5p U.S. Central Time.

  • Reasonable accommodations provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

Propellic celebrates diverse perspectives and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
