The SEO Manager will enhance online presence through effective SEO practices, perform technical audits, develop content strategies, and analyze digital performance using various tools.

We are looking for a SEO Manager to join our team in Argentina. This role is responsible for owning the success of a portfolio of SEO accounts by ensuring high-quality execution, strong client relationships, sustainable growth, and team alignment.
The SEO Manager acts as the strategic owner of each account, coordinating Specialists, Analysts, and Project Managers while ensuring SEO initiatives contribute to meaningful business outcomes. This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong communication, leadership, and business thinking in addition to deep SEO expertise.
Account Ownership
- Own the health and performance of assigned SEO accounts.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at a consistently high quality.
- Monitor account performance and proactively identify opportunities and risks.
- Own client retention through excellent execution and relationship management.
- Drive SEO strategies aligned with business objectives, revenue growth, and lead generation.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and become their strategic SEO partner.
- Lead recurring client meetings and present SEO strategies, results, and recommendations.
- Manage expectations, timelines, priorities, and difficult conversations when needed.
- Own escalations and proactively resolve issues before they impact client satisfaction.
- Coordinate upsell and expansion opportunities together with the leadership team.
- Coordinate SEO Specialists, Analysts, and Project Managers across multiple accounts.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and available resources.
- Ensure clear ownership and accountability across the delivery team.
- Support the professional development of SEO team members through feedback and mentorship.
- Raise resourcing or allocation risks early and propose solutions.
- Review and validate technical SEO audits and recommendations.
- Review content strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Guide technical SEO initiatives including site architecture, crawling, indexing, internal linking, migrations, and performance optimization.
- Analyze Organic Search performance and identify strategic opportunities.
- Review competitive analysis, keyword research, GAP analysis, and benchmarking.
- Ensure recommendations are data-driven and focused on measurable business impact.
- Maintain high standards across Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Content SEO, and reporting.
- Ensure documentation standards are consistently followed.
- Maintain healthy project documentation across accounts.
- Identify recurring operational issues and drive process improvements.
- Contribute to the evolution of SEO methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience in SEO.
- Strong experience across Technical SEO, Content SEO, and On-Page SEO.
- Experience leading SEO strategies for multiple clients or large-scale websites.
- Experience managing client relationships in an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of business metrics beyond SEO performance.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush (or similar platforms), Google Keyword Planner, and Looker Studio.
- Experience analyzing SEO performance and translating insights into business recommendations.
- Experience with Ecommerce SEO and Shopify SEO is a plus.
- Experience managing website migrations is a plus.
- Functional knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Python, SQL, or automation experience is considered a plus.
- Experience with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) is a plus.
