Job Summary/Description:

Gray Digital Media is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented SEO Strategist to work on our Managed Platforms and Premier Sales Operations teams. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to oversee SEO campaigns that are fulfilled by our digital partners. This role will work cross-functionally with Operations and Sales to drive meaningful and proven results for our clients.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as the team’s Search Engine Optimization/Artificial Intelligence Optimization (SEO/AIO) product expert, with knowledge of both organic and local SEO, and how AI is changing the search landscape.
• Provide excellent customer service as the liaison between sales teams and third-party digital partners.
• Monitor the onboarding and ongoing fulfillment of SEO campaigns to ensure timely and accurate implementation by our digital partners, with emphasis on premier-level accounts.
• Ensure campaign revisions are fully communicated with our digital partners and executed with 100% accuracy.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that could potentially delay SEO campaign launches, such as access to a client’s CMS and Google platforms.
• Interpret SEO strategy documents and performance reports for Regional Sales Specialists and Premier Sales Specialists and collaborate with the Premier Sales team on strategy presentations.
• Create materials for internal teams and potential clients to simplify SEO.
• Maintain processes and best practices; and provide suggestions to leadership on improvement opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of field experience
• Highly motivated individual who is proactive and can work independently, while also collaborating within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and respond urgently to matters involving high-priority campaigns and escalations.
• Superior communication and presentation skills with a track record of collaborating cross-functionally amongst various departments.
• Eagerness to learn a variety of digital order management and reporting platforms.
• Experience managing SEO campaigns, with an understanding of the search landscape that includes AIO (AI optimization), GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization), and LLMO (large language model optimization).
• Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Business Profile, as well as the most common CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO tools and platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, and Birdeye.
