We are looking for an SEO Strategy Manager who ships client outcomes through agents and automation, not through headcount and manual hours. You own KPI progress across traditional search and AI-driven search experiences.

You set direction, explain your reasoning clearly, and guide clients toward the right decisions. This role goes beyond producing audits, recommendations, or manual execution. It is about designing the systems and owning the client relationship that turn SEO strategy into measurable results.

What are the responsibilities of an SEO Strategy Manager?
Lead SEO strategy and client outcomes
  • Own SEO strategy and KPI progress across assigned client accounts.
  • Act as the main strategic point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, proactive recommendations, and confident direction.
  • Lead strategy reviews, reporting calls, and QBRs, connecting SEO performance to business impact.
  • Monitor risks, blockers, and signs of client concern or dissatisfaction, and create recovery plans before issues escalate.
  • Identify growth opportunities and propose new initiatives or scope expansions that can drive measurable results.
Build AI-supported SEO workflows
  • Turn recurring SEO tasks into repeatable templates, workflows, or automation.
  • Set up monitoring for ranking changes, technical issues, competitor activity, and visibility gaps in AI search results.
  • Build recurring processes for auditing and improving technical SEO, structured data, internal linking, and content visibility.
  • Monitor how often clients’ brands are mentioned or recommended in AI search results, identify gaps, and suggest actions to improve visibility.
  • Decide which SEO tasks should be handled by specialists, AI tools, or a combination of both.
Improve quality, scalability, and team adoption
  • Create quality checks for automated SEO workflows, combining tool-based checks with human review.
  • Maintain shared prompt, workflow, and automation libraries for the SEO team.
  • Help SEO Specialists adopt AI tools and workflows in a structured, quality-controlled way.
  • Continuously identify repetitive work that can be simplified, automated, or improved.
Stay ahead of SEO and AI search changes
  • Stay up to date with SEO, AI search behavior, algorithm updates, and automation tools.
  • Turn new trends and tools into practical workflows that improve client delivery and results.

What do we expect from an SEO Strategy Manager?
SEO strategy and performance ownership
  • Proven experience building and leading SEO strategies, preferably in an agency, eCommerce, or client-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, internal linking, off-page SEO, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to connect SEO work to business goals such as visibility, traffic, conversions, revenue impact, and growth.
  • Ownership mindset toward SEO KPIs – you take responsibility for improving performance, not only reporting on it.
AI search and workflow improvement
  • Practical understanding of how AI search is changing organic visibility, including AI-generated answers, LLM recommendations, source credibility, and brand mentions.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools or automation to improve SEO workflows.
  • Ability to turn recurring SEO tasks into clear, repeatable workflows with quality checks.
  • Good judgment on which tasks should be automated, which need human expertise, and where both should work together.
Client and team leadership
  • Excellent client communication skills and confident English, with the ability to explain complex SEO and AI search topics clearly.
  • Ability to manage expectations, handle difficult conversations, and provide confident strategic direction.
  • Structured thinking: turning strategy into roadmaps, tasks, and measurable outcomes.
  • Confidence to challenge assumptions and act as a trusted strategic advisor.
Tools and platforms you will work with
  • Coding or agent frameworks such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools.
  • SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.

What we offer
  • Competitive starting salary relative to the market - 2100-2400 EUR NET;
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to successful project delivery and client outcomes;
  • Exciting travel opportunities;
  • Support for hardware upgrades;
  • Core health insurance coverage and sports bonuses;
  • A diverse multinational team of experts to learn from;
  • Company-covered training and certification;
  • Legendary online and onsite events to celebrate our success together.
