We are seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to contribute to GFiber’s enterprise ticketing and workflow platform strategy and implementation, delivering scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions that improve internal operations and enhance customer experience.

Role Description

This ServiceNow Application Engineer position focuses on the hands-on development and technical execution of the ServiceNow platform at GFiber. Working as a key member of the development team, you will contribute to the full scope of our implementation - from building new customer-facing functionality to maintaining system health through best practices. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of assigned projects, providing critical support for defect remediation and maintaining seamless technical handovers to ensure consistent progress and platform stability throughout the development lifecycle.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and code review process for ServiceNow applications to ensure technical excellence and scalability.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for real-time troubleshooting, defect remediation, and system stability during business hours.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and GFiber leadership.
  • Guide the daily activities of other application engineers through mentorship and technical oversight to maintain a consistent development velocity.
  • Participate actively in all scrum ceremonies and Standups, contributing technical updates and identifying potential blockers for the development cycle.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in ServiceNow application development. 
  • Experience with ServiceNow architecture, design, development, implementation, and administration, including experience with the ServiceNow Application Suite.
  • 1 year of experience working with databases, structured data, and schema design.

It's preferred if you have:

  • Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications using REST and oAuth.
  • Experience developing and deploying solutions within ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and Telecommunications Service Management (TSM/TSOM).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and/or Network Inventory Management.
  • Experience with multiple ticketing solutions including Salesforce, ServiceNow, and others.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development approaches.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Application Developer certification.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $ 117,600- $ 172,500 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
