Position Overview:

Your Impact:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will:

  • Develop and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HR, and GRC to meet business requirements.

  • Build workflows, dashboards, catalog items, and integrations with enterprise systems.

  • Implement automation and performance improvements across ServiceNow capabilities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions and manage user stories.

  • Present roadmaps, architecture decisions, and enhancement strategies.

  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the platform's value

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance core ServiceNow functionality by adding new capabilities.

  • Develop, test, and deploy updates to ServiceNow in accordance with customer requirements.

  • Configure and customize ServiceNow applications; facilitate deployment of new modules and applications, including UI and workflow configuration.

  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow System Engineers and fellow developers to create solutions and manage updates or configuration requests.

  • Identify system deficiencies and propose effective solutions.

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.

  • Ensure reliable and reproducible development/production environments using appropriate tools and processes.

  • Maintain consistency in tool configurations across Development, Testing, Integration, and Production environments.

  • Provide ongoing production and end-user support.

  • Document testing procedures and maintenance activities related to system corrections.

  • Research and adopt new technologies and standards as required.

  • Participate in system and development deployment planning, ensuring adherence to software compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience

  • 3+ years in a senior architect role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent specialized experience.

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management, ITOM concepts and ITIL framework.

  • Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and implement complex ServiceNow modules and workflows.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and integration methods (APIs, web services, MID servers).

  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.

  • JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, AngularJS, CSS, SOAP, Rest, Glide Scripting, Flow Designer

Preferred Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $107,000 - $161,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
